We have an exciting opportunity to join our Queenstownbased Operations team,taking care of theinspectionsmaintenance of our sites facilities, with a particular focus on the mechanical plant equipmentat all Queenstown Bungy Limited activities.As much as we like to have fun, safety is always our number one priority a safety conscious attitude respect for Health Safety practices is paramount.
If this sounds like you, you’ll need to be/have
- A Trade Certified Fitter Welder,Turner or Mechanic
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a mechanical or engineering environment
- Current First Aid Certificate
- H&S Level 1 (would be awesome but not essential; training can be provided)
- Current, clean & full NZ Driver’s Licence
- Computer literate with good communication skills
- Mature reliable with an uncompromising safety conscious mindset
- Proactive, innovative & calm under pressure
- Fit, agile & able to work at heights without getting speed wobbles
- Able to self-manage & work autonomously,yet still enjoy rocking it as part of a tight knit team
- Ability to manage contractors & suppliers, with good knowledge of compliance requirements advantageous
- Previous experience in hydraulics, cableways & drive systems beneficial
- Someone that doesn’t think twice about fitting hard work fun times into the same day
This position requires the supply of personal tools comes with an annual tool allowance, work phone full use of a company vehicle.This is a long term, permanent position; applicants must be eligible to work in NZ prepared to work weekends public holidays.
