GOOD WORK DONE BY PCR STAFF

On 21-03-2014 at 1746 hrs (The staff of MPV Z-18 HC Ram Kumar No. 1573/PCR, Ct . Dvr Vijay 3155/PCR) and another MPV Z-48 staff (HC Surinder No. 1377/PCR, Ct. Arun 3301/PCR and HC Dvr. Gulab Singh No. 4014/PCR) received a call that a person drowned in Chawala Canal near Hanuman Mandir. The staff of MPV reached the spot within 03 minutes and saw a person being drowned. The Dvr. of MPV Z-18 jumped into the canal and saved the person namely Bhola Dev, age- 33 yrs R/o West Bengal. Bhola Dev was unsound minded person, the staff of MPV Z-18 admittted Bhola Dev in RTR Hospital in the supervision of SI Sandeep Malik PS Chawala.

AN INTERSTATE GANG INVOLVED DEALING IN ILLICIT FIREARMS BUSTED WITH THE ARREST OF ONE SUPPLIER.

HUGE CAHCE OF ILLICIT ARMS AND AMMUNITION INCLUDING 6 PISTOLS, 8 HALF BARREL GUNS OF 12 BORE AND .315”, 20 LIVE CARTRIDGES AND ONE MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED.

INTRODUCTION:-

A team of South-Eastern Range, Crime Branch led by Inspr Sunil Kumar and consisting of SIs Ravinder Teotia, Ravinder Verma, N.S. Rana, ASI Dharmender, HCs Rakesh Tomar, Ravinder Baliyan, Ieed Mohd, Vikram, Ajay Sharma, Cts Ashok, Pawan, Kusam Pal, Mohit, Devender, Prem Pal, Surender Pal, Udai, Manoj and Rakesh Sharma under the close supervision of ACP KPS Malhotra and overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh has succeeded in unearthing a gang involved in the supply of illicit sophisticated weapons in Delhi and NCR.

One supplier namely Usman (28 years) s/o Insad r/o village Nahali, PS Bhojpur, Ghaziabad, UP involved in this illegal trade has been arrested and 6 Pistols, 8 half barrel guns of 12 bore and .315”, 20 live cartridges and one Motorcycle have been recovered from his possession. The recovered weapons were manufactured with high proficiency skills and appear to be very sophisticated standard weapons embossed with ”Made in USA”, etc.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-

An input was received that a gang based in Western UP is indulging in the supply of illicit arms and ammunition in Delhi and NCR. Possibility of using these weapon by the gangsters/criminals of Delhi and NCR in committing crimes cannot be ruled out. The information was further developed and to apprehended these criminals and unearth the whole nexus, a dedicated team comprising of HC Ieed Mohd. and Ct Rakesh Sharma was put on the task to collect the specific movement of these criminals. A careful study of “Modus Operandi” of this gang was carried out and local sources were deployed in Delhi and NCR to collect leads about it.

On 18.03.2014, a specific input was received that one Usman (28 years) s/o Insad r/o village Nahali, PS Bhojpur, Ghaziabad, UP indulging in this illegal trade, would come near Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Park, Sector-12, R.K. Puram, Ring Road, New Delhi to deliver a consignment of illicit arms and ammunition to one of their contacts. Accordingly, a trap was laid and one person, who arrived there on a motorcycle, was apprehended. The arrested person has been identified as Usman (28 years) s/o Insad r/o village Nahali, PS Bhojpur, Ghaziabad, UP.

During search, 4 half barrel guns, 6 pistols and 20 live cartridges were recovered. A case vide FIR No.28/14 u/s 25/29 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch has been registered in this regard.

INTERROGATION:-

The accused was subjected to intensive interrogation. On sustained interrogation, it was revealed that he was involved in this illegal trade since last 3 years and has supplied more than 100-125 sophisticated weapons to various persons including criminals for Mewat region/gangsters of the Delhi, NCR, UP and Haryana. The delivery of the arms was done in the area preferred by the buyers. Various gangsters and criminals of Delhi, NCR, UP and Haryana were in constant touch with this gang for fulfilling their demands for sophisticated weapons. The rates of the arms supplied by this gang have been disclosed as below:-

  1. .32” pistol Rs. 25-30,000/-.
  2. 12 half barrel gun Rs.10,000/-.
  3. .315” half barrel gun Rs.10,000/-.

To unearth the whole gang and to apprehend the criminals involved in this racket, accused Usman was taken on police custody remand and during his police custody, 4 half barrel guns, which were kept by him in the forest area near Yamuna were also recovered at his instance. The recovered weapons were disclosed to be procured by the accused Usman from two suppliers namely Ilyas @ Nadeem r/o Village Jaula, Muzaffarnagar, UP and Khilafat r/o Village Radhna, Meerut, UP.

PROFILE:-

Usman (28 years) s/o Insad r/o village Nahali, PS Bhojpur, Ghaziabad, UP could not complete his primary education. He started working as a painter to earn his livelihood. About 3 years back, he came in contact with Ilyas @ Nadeem r/o Village Jaula, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, UP and Khilafat r/o Village Radhna, Meerut, UP, who were indulged in manufacturing and supply of illicit weapons in various parts of the country. They lured him for joining the gang. He has not been arrested so far in any criminal case.

Police is on the trail of other accomplices and more recoveries and arrest may take place as further investigation is in progress.

CHEATED RS. 24.5 LACS FROM A KANPUR BASED DIVORCEE LADY BY PROPOSING HER FOR MARRIAGE ON “JEEVANSATHI.COM”

HUGE INCRIMINATING MATERIAL SEIZED INCLUDING A HONDA CITY CAR HAVING BEACON LIGHT AND SIREN.

INTRODUCTION:-

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested a 58 years high profile Casanova cheat Ajay Singh Yadav from Aaya Nagar, Delhi-Gurgaon Border area alongwith his driver who assisted him in commission of crime. The accused Ajay Singh Yadav used to pose himself as an IPS officer and presently posted as DIG/Mizoram, was involved in cheating innocent un-married/divorcee ladies by proposing them for marriage through matrimonial web-sites. Huge incriminating material have been recovered from the possession of accused persons including a Honda City car having beacon light and siren installed on it. The accused had cheated Rs. 24.5 lacs from a Kanpur based divorcee lady after proposing her for marriage through

ARRESTED ACCUSED PERSONS:-

  1. Ajay Singh Yadav (58 years) s/o Late Jai Narayan Singh r/o S-379, Greater Kailash-II, New Delhi.
  2. Amit Chouhan (29 years) s/o Ranbir Singh Chouhan r/o Village Chhalera, Noida, UP.

BACKGROUND:-

A business woman Ms Karuna (changed name) r/o Kanpur, UP had filed a complaint with Crime Branch of Delhi Police that during the end of November 2013, she came in contact with one Rajiv Yadav through a matrimonial website for marriage. The said Rajiv Yadav posed himself as an IPS Officer presently posted as DIG in Mizoram. After regular conversations over phone, he mutually agreed to marry her and the marriage was to be solemnized on 13th December 2013 in the presence of only close family members. The said Rajiv Yadav dishonesty induced her by saying that his parents are no more and his brother was a Brigadier in the Indian Army who had been killed by terrorists in a bomb blast in Jammu Kashmir and that he is also posted in the highly sensitive zone in Mizoram located in North Eastern region of India.

The victim further reported that on 10th December 2013, the so called Rajiv Yadav informed her that his ATM card has been lost somewhere during his duty hours and on 11th December 2013, he further informed that he has been hospitalized as he sustained gun shots on his leg and his hip was also broken. As he was suddenly hospitalized and could not go to bank and his ATM card was also lost, hence, he asked her to help him with money for his treatment. The accused informed the victim that the money for his treatment would be released by the Govt. lateron. Looking into the gravity of the situation, the victim transferred Rs. 75,000/- from Kanpur in the Bank a/c given by accused. The accused further informed that his treatment at Mizoram was still continuing and a lot of money is required for treatment, hence he needs more money. Thereafter, the victim transferred another Rs. 4,25,000/- till 19.12.2013 in the bank a/c numbers given by Rajiv Yadav.

Thereafter accused informed her that he has to be shifted to Apollo Hospital, Chennai (as poison in his legs was spreading) and asked more money for treatment. In this way, the complainant deposited Rs. 18,00,000/- more in the bank a/c numbers given by the accused at different occasions, till 07.02.2014 on one pretext or another for his treatment. She got cheated by the accused to the tune of Rs. 24.5 lacs. The accused had posed himself as an IPS Officer posted as DIG/Mizoram and proposed for marriage.

TEAM & OPERATION:-

After receiving the complaint from the victim lady, a case of cheating was registered and a team comprising SIs Vinay Tyagi, Atul Tyagi, HCs Jugnu Tyagi, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajkumar, Naresh Pal, Upender and Consts. Vipin, Rajeev Sahrawat and Sandeep Nara was constituted to nab the criminal under close supervision of ACP Hoshiyar Singh and DCP Bhisham Singh.

During investigation, it was revealed that the real name of accused (Rajiv Yadav) is Ajay Singh Yadav and he is residing in area of South Delhi. After diligent work done by the Crime Branch team, on 21.03.2014, an input was received that the accused Ajay Singh Yadav @ Rajiv Yadav would go to Sohna, Haryana via Aaya Nagar Border. This information was further developed and the Crime Branch successfully intercepted the Honda City car No. DL4C AH 9066 having beacon light at about 12:30 pm. Initially, the accused Ajay Singh Yadav posed himself as DIG In Intelligence Bureau and tried to mislead the police team. But after detailed interrogation, he broke down and revealed the startling facts of the case.

DISCLOSURE & PROFILE:-

The accused Ajay Singh Yadav belongs to a very wealthy family. His father was an IAS officer in Delhi. After completing his Graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University in the year 1976, his father got him employed in Azad Pur Market Committee as Inspector Enforcement. But he was removed from this job after 5-6 years and thereafter, he bought distribution-ship of a reputed refined oil company for Rajasthan area and he also got the job of PA of an influential political leader in Haryana. During this period, he came in contact with several senior officers of civil & police and got influenced with their working style and adopted the same type of lifestyle as his own style.

In the year 1981, he got married in a reputed political family of Rajasthan. He was habitual of living lavish lifestyle since his college days. Hence, because of his bad and extravagant habits, his business suffered huge losses and he was also removed as PA. Also, his married life was not going well. In the mid 80’s, he started his business of transport and purchased buses running under DTC in Delhi. His business was not running well, hence, he again incurred huge losses. Thereafter, in 1990, he started running Residency hotel from his Bunglow in Dehradun but could not succeed. In the year 2000, he came back to Delhi and started doing part time jobs in various Real Estate companies and builders of Delhi & Haryana at regular intervals. He was suffering from High Blood Pressure, Diabetes and other diseases, hence, finally in 2008-09, he became jobless and started facing acute shortage of money.

In the meantime, he got an idea of cheating innocent divorcee ladies living lonely through matrimonial websites and uploaded his particulars with fake photo and name as Rajiv Yadav, an IPS officer posted as DIG/Mizoram and living alone. The accused Ajay Singh Yadav has adopted a unique modus operandi to cheat the innocent ladies and got friendly with them after exchange of phone numbers through internet. As he was very well aware about the working style of senior officers of police, hence, he easily won over the faith of the victim lady.

In general public, the accused Ajay Singh Yadav used to pose himself as DIG in Intelligence Bureau and he had installed beacon light and siren in his Honda City car and employed Amit Chouhan as his driver. Because of this, he easily got favours at many occasions in and outside Delhi.

The other arrested accused Amit Chouhan was employed as driver with Ajay Singh Yadav at a handsome salary. Besides, he was assisting his owner in the crime by providing him fictitious mobile phone connections and bank accounts opened in his name.

The accused Ajay Singh Yadav has further disclosed that presently, he was in touch with some other ladies and was looking for an opportunity to cheat them in the same manner.

The bank accounts of the accused persons were already freeze during investigation. The arrested accused persons have been produced before the court of law. Other victim ladies are being identified. Investigation of the case is in progress.
