Good morningto all Respected Comrades on & off the Dias.
Civil Engineers in BSNL had played a very vital role in the development & overall growth of BSNL. The Huge assets we are having in the form of land & building tells us so. Comrades not to mention but I would like to inform the house where we are also having lot of comrades from telecom side that a civil engineer constructs a tower, buildings in places where is no man power, no electricity & even no water drink I mean to say in worst conditions our executives work but still civil & Electrical wing were seen in other way in BSNL.
But now under the platform of SNEA the things havechanged & now we are working hand in hand along with the executives of Telecom wing.
Why SNEA comrades I would like to tell you that SNEA is the only association which is fighting for the survival, growth & Development of BSNL along with our HR issues because our HR issues will solve automatically if the company survives. Not like the other association who are only busy in other subjects.
As recently you had seen our association has taken the following very vital issues like 1. BSNL/ MTNL merger 2. Formation of subsidiary for towers and land banks 3. Implementation of Time Bound Functional promotion or CPSU cadre hierarchy 4) 30% superannuation benefits to BSNL directly recruited employees 5. Pension contribution on actual of basic instead of maximum of the pay scale 6. Strategy to counter Reliance JIO which no association is worried about.
Only after the issues are taken by SNEA then other association is hijacking the issues & putting the news in their web site & there by most of our comrades think that SNEA is not taking this issue.
We are having a Special message from our AGS who is from our Civil wing Shri. Chandrasekhara after hearing him you will get a clear picture what SNEA is doing for our civil & Electrical wing comrades.
Comrades I will take you all in the year 2011 when for the first time in the history of Civil /Electrical & Architectural Wing a grand meeting was organized at Kalyan under the leadership of our SNEA CHQ leaders. Among present were Com Jogi our current President SNEA CHQ , Com Khan AGS CHQ, Com Sebastian our current GS , Com Manani our current VP, Com Chandrashekara AGS CHQ ( Civil ). The meeting was also presided by then CE (C) & CE (E). The meeting was attended by Civil & Electrical Executives from all over the Maharashtra with a good strength. This was possible due to the constant efforts of Com Manani & Com Adsul who are always ready to give a patience listening for our issues & also succeeded in solving most of them.
Comrades we succeeded in helding up recovery of our senior executives for
ACP. After getting the orders we we had arranged a special meeting with then CE (C). Special thanks to Com Manani & Com Adsul for this & particularly to all our CHQ leaders for solving the ACP issue within short time.
Comrades, Civil wing was among the first to donate Rs 51000/ towards SNEA Bhavan New Delhi.
From that day most of the executives have joined SNEA.Recently now in MP nearly all executives have joined SNEA. In the same way I would like to appeal to all remaining executives of Civil & Electrical wing in Maharashtra to join SNEA to solve our problems because SNEA is the true platform to work with.
SNEA (I) MH succeeded in posting of Civil executives in EB & other section, particularly of the executives who are having higher qualification. Now we are trying the same in Electrical wing & recently we succeeded in getting the posting of one JTO Electrical to EB section at Kalyan. Among our leaders I would like to mention the name of Com Ram EE Electrical for taking special efforts.
Along with SNEA Circle office bearers we had several meetings with PCE (Civil), SE Civil (P & D) & CE (E) regarding various HR issues & succeeded in solving most of them.
Com I had no words to express my gratitude for all the sacrifice our CHQ & Circle Office bearers are making to save our BSNL. I salute to all this leaders.
A good building will always create a good environment for working hence maintain the buildings properly.
Comrades now BSNL Civil wing has already started generating revenue by taking external Project work of crores of rupees from which BSNL will earn a handsome amount.
As par as Maharashtra is concern Commissioner of IT Kolhapur has appreciated the work done by BSNL Civil wing in their premises.
In Mumbai also one external project work of NIO is in completion stage & BSNL will earn more than 1 Crore for the same.
Recently we had also bagged a civil work amounting to Rs 3.20 cr from the prestigious research institute Aauka Pune & also a project at NEERI at Nagpur.
Issues to be taken up at CHQ level
- Diploma holders who have joined in DOT period should get the promotion of Executive Engineer at par with Telecom.
- In most of the SSA SDE (T) is working as a SDE (Bldg) same post should be given to Executive’s of Civil.
- Executives from Maharashtra to be posted in Maharashtra after getting proportion.
- Pay scales to be given from 1/10/2000.
- Enhancement of powers at par with CPWD.
So finally once from this dais I would like to appeal executives of Civil & Electrical to Join SNEA.
I would like to appeal to all comrades from civil & Electrical wing to participate in all the calls given by our CHQ and we should be in front in war & not be on the back side.
Finally best of luck to all executives of civil for upcoming resultof LDCE.
