Join our minister and fellow devotees on Saturday, July 7th for a Morning of Temple Service. Start with a continental breakfast; then choose from light tasks in handyman, gardening and cleaning. At 12:30 pm join us for meditation in the Chapel, followed by a delicious vegetarian buffet lunch. This is a wonderful way to serve the temple and meet new people.
INDIA NIGHT (JUL 14)
The Encinitas Temple invites you to join in celebrating our Guru’s homeland onSaturday, July 14thon the Encinitas Ashram Grounds. Our theme this year is “The Magic of India.”
You may purchase tickets and pick up a flyerat our Bookroom upstairs after the service, or during the week (TuesdaythroughSunday), you may purchase your tickets at SRF Books and Gifts in Encinitas on Coast Highway 101.
GARDEN KIRTAN (JULY 21)
“Chanting opens for the devotee a way through which the joyous presence of God can be felt.” – from the booklet (“Chanting for Deep Meditation – With Sri Durga Mata”)
Our Evening in the Gardenkirtan will be held on Saturday, July 21st. The Temple Kirtan group will lead the meditation and chanting from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.Whether you are a new or longtime meditator, come join us for an evening of devotional chanting and fellowship. SRF WORLD CONVOCATION (AUG 5 – 11)
Self-Realization Fellowship cordially invites you to the 2018 Convocation to be
held August 5th through the 11th. Thousands of SRF members from around the world will gather in Los Angeles for a profoundly inspiring week of spiritual renewal and fellowship, as we immerse ourselves in the teachings of our guru, ParamahansaYogananda.New for 2018: Simultaneous Spanish translations will be available during most events. All donations will be put into our building fund and used to maintain San Diego Temple buildings and grounds.
