Teen dating violence can happen to both males and females, no matter your social or economic status, your race, or whether you are gay, straight, bisexual, transgender, or questioning . Learn the facts about teen dating violence.

Fact: Teen dating violence is as common as domestic violence in adult relationships. A 2001 study of high school students conducted by Harvard University found that one in five teenage girls had been physically abused by a dating partner.
