An exciting 4-day camp at the San Luis Obispo Campus designed for students entering the 4th grade in the FALL of 2017. Campers are supervised as they rotate through several subjects each day.

Good Morning Group GatheringRM 4710

All students and instructors gather each morning for icebreakers and team building activities. Rise and shine, wake up your mind, and get to know your fellow students.
Drawing Animal ‘ToonsRM 4730

Cartoon lions! Cartoon tigers! Cartoon bears! Who doesn't love cartoon animals? Learn to draw all sorts of different creatures from throughout the animal kingdom -"Sunday funnies" style. Participate in warm-up and imagination exercises that cartoonists use in making their drawings while learning how to better express creativity through drawing projects
Excel and PowerPoint for Tech KidsRM 4740

Decode a secret letter using Excel. Create a flow chart about yourself using shapes, color, pictures, etc. in PowerPoint. Copy and paste all creations into PowerPoint, add transitions and animations, for a fabulous presentation.
Life Science SleuthsRM 4760

Students will be prepared for all that 4th grade life science curriculum brings. Learn through hands-on activities about energy, environments, and ecosystems, and how they’re all connected!
Snacks, Treats, and Easy EatsRM 4720

If you like to eat, most kids do, learn to make your own snacks. Discover how easy and fun it is to make delicious food. And YES, we will get to eat them!
Lunch Time CookingRM 4720

Learn basic cooking skills while making your lunch at a beginner level. This class includes basic food preparation; knife skills; cooking terms and techniques; food safety and sanitation; food product identification and equipment/tool identification and uses.
Intro to Video Game Creation RM 4740

Learn to create video games in a simple, gentle pace. Students will build their own pong style game using introductory graphical programming software for kids. Once completed, students will bring their very own game home on a flash drive! Games require Windows to run.
Sportsmanship in the SunRM 4710

Students will participate in cooperative games that focus on communication, cooperation, team building, trust, teamwork, and group challenges.
Evening with an Expert RM 4750
Spend each day with a local expert learning about what they do and participate in an activity related to their work.
