Golden Regiment Marching Festival Itinerary

Blue Springs High School
7:00 a.m. – Arrive at WHS.
7:15 a.m. – Leave for Blue Springs High School
8:15 a.m. – arrive, breakfast snack provided, but plan on eating a light breakfast before arriving (or bring with you on bus), unload vehicles, suit up, do NOT play instruments in our camp area.
9:25 a.m. – winds/battery/guard - head to official warm up
9:30 a.m. – Pit head to official warm-up.
10:15 a.m. – Pit head to main field
10:20 a.m. – band to main field
10:45 a.m. – FIELD SHOW PERFORMANCE
11:15 a.m. – Change out of uniform
11:30 a.m. – noon – watch two bands. – Truck loaders help load truck/van
Noon – Lunch
1 p.m. – Watch bands and awards (4:15 p.m.)
5 p.m. – head home if we don’t make finals – home by 6 p.m.
If we make finals our schedule will be announced.
Awards are at 10:15 then we head home. Home by 11:45 p.m.
Itty Bitty Breakfast, Good Sized Lunch and Pizza Dinner (if we make finals) provided by the Band-Aides.
--Remember your BLACK band shirt, long black socks, your shoes and your gloves.
--If you are riding home with your own parent be sure to sign out with Mrs. Sekelsky before you leave. We had several leave from Carrollton without signing out. Please do not do that again.
--If you are riding home with another parent/person make sure the proper form has been approved by Mr. Chapman or Dr. Pummill at least 48 hours in advance.
--Students will be expected to watch performances throughout the day and not leave the festival.
--All school policies apply. Refer to handbook.
Spectator entry is $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for military, and $5.00 for children. We will have a limited number of wrist bands for our pit/prop crew to be able to help move equipment then watch bands.

Parking for the masses (not the band truck, van, trailers) – see the next page. There is no parking near the band vehicles – all lots are off the BSHS premises. There is a church nearby charging for parking – don’t feel like you have to park there!
