THE REPUBLIC OF SUDAN- GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE -RED SEA STATE WATER CORPORATION- INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING FOR IMPROVED ACCESS TO WATER AND SANITATION IN PORT SUDAN
The Republic of Sudan has received a grant from the African Development Bank, to finance the Institutional Capacity Building for Improved Access to Water and Sanitation in Port Sudan and intends to apply the proceeds of this grant to payments for goods, works and consulting services to be procured under the project. The overall objective of the project is to improve the availability, reliability, and quality of water supply, as well as ensuring sustainability and equity throughout the city of Port Sudan, and to improve sanitation and hygiene practices to ensure improved health of all residents.
The project has the following components:-
Component I: Emergency Water Supply Rehabilitation Works
Component II: Sanitation Service Expansion
Component III: Institutional Capacity Development
Component IV: Project Management
The procurement of goods, works and acquisition of the services of consultants required for implementation of the Project will follow the Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015.

1 . The Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the water Supply sanitation and Hygiene, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract No- NCB/TIG/OWNP/RPS/01 /2017 for Construction of RPS (Civil Work Construction, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings and Electro mechanical Equipment) for Raya Alamata Woreda (selam Bikalsi project)
2. The Tigray Water Resource Bureau now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having Vat Certificate, Vat declaration for the month of Tir 2010E.C, Tin Number, renewed business license and renewed water works certificate valid for 2010 E.C. Qualification and requirement including machinery, personnel, technical, financial legal and other additional requirements may be provided in the bid document. This procurement is not subjected to marginal preference.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Banks Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers January 201 0 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Banks policy on conflict of interest.
4. 5. Amhara National Regional State (ANRS) Council Office is desirous of engaging a contractor for the ANRS Design and Build River Side Park Project with Lump Sun (Fixed Price) contract.
ANRS Council Office now invites eligible bidders of BC/GC of Grade-I (One) – Grade III with relevant experience and valid licenses for the year 201 7/201 8 to submit sealed bids for the ANRS Design and Build River Side Park Project at Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.
The Design works shall be completed within 30 calendar days for the commencement of the work.
The Construction of the works shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the commencement of the work.

1. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) No. AfDB729-10/5 of 21st October 2015, and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (

The Government of Tanzania (GoT) has received a loan/financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) in various currencies towards the cost of Construction of Construction of the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Infrastructure – Phase 2. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan/financing will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Construction of Construction of the Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Infrastructure - Phase 2 Lot 2: Buildings – Mbagala Depot, Terminals and Feeder Stations; Tender No. AE/001/2017- 18/HQ/W/31.
3. TANROADS on behalf of the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the execution of the works. International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works 2008 edition, revised July 2012. The works involves the construction and completion of Dar es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System, Phase 2 Lot 2: Building Works which consist of:
• Construction of Mbagala Complex which comprises preparation of site which includes demolition of the existing buildings, site clearance and earth filling to formation level; construction of concrete retaining wall, construction of Main Building (workshop), Commercial Building, Control and Administration Building, Ablution Building, Terminal Shed, Feeder Sheds (8 No), Fuel Filling Station, Power House 1 & 2, Police Post, Security Huts (6 No), Fence work, and associated Portland cement concrete surfaced pavements (roads and parking lot);
• Construction of Kariakoo Terminal which comprises demolition of existing structures (Feeder Sheds and Block wall Fence), construction of Control and Administration Building, Terminal Building, Security Huts (2 No), New Fence Wall and associated Portland cement concrete surfaced pavements;
• Construction of 4 No Feeder stations namely Zarkhem Feeder Station, Mtoni Kijichi Feeder Station, Mtoni Feeder Station and Chang’ombe Feeder Station; and
• Compliance with environmental guidelines. 2 The delivery/construction period is 730 days including 56 days of mobilization.
