- Eligibility
- The Global Opportunities Bursary will only be granted upon the completion and submission of the necessary Short and Summer Programme Paperwork, details of which will be clearly communicated to you by the Go Global Team. You will receive 80% of your bursary upon completion of the initial paperwork and the remaining 20% once you have completed the feedback form, which will be sent to you during your programme.
- The standard bursary rates do not apply to students receiving funding from other sources. Students receiving a British Council Generation UK bursary for a fully funded programme can apply for a grant of no more than £200. Where other funding is being received, the Go Global Team reserves the right to assess your application on an individual basis.
- The Global Opportunities Bursary is available to students enrolled at Swansea University, with the exception of final year students undertaking an opportunity during the summer following graduation. Postgraduate students may apply for the bursary, however they must provide academic approval, supporting their participation in the chosen programme.
- By submitting this application form, you grant the Go Global Team permission to liaise with your personal tutor, your department and Student Support Services where necessary to ensure your suitability for the chosen programme. Should your circumstances change between completing this form and partaking in the programme, it is your responsibility to inform the Go Global Team as soon as possible.
