DANCE-A-THON:
Dance-A-Thon 1 week countdown!!!
We NEED volunteers and we NEED you!
Please ensure your Dance-a-Thon fundraising envelopes are stuffed with your contributions by friends and family. (Our fundraising goal is $5000. With YOU...WE CAN do THIS). To qualify for amazing fundraising prizes, donations need to be submitted to the school office by March 6.
We are looking for volunteers to chaperone the dance-a-thon while having fun watching the kids have a great time. Click to sign up as a chaperone don’t need an account, just select a time slot and fill in your name).
Student Success:
Our next Spelling Test is the first Monday after March Break.
Don’t forget our Spelling Bee is on Thursday, March 23rd. The first, second and third place spellers receive a $30, $25, $20 cash prize respectively. If you haven’t signed up yet, we are still accepting registration forms.
A Parent Engagement Evening on Mindfulness
On Thursday March 9th, join a presentation and discussion for parents and caregivers on Mindfulness and its benefits. A public health nurse will give an introduction and Judy Reynolds will provide an overview of the Mindfulness programs that have been running at Glen Park over the past several years. Start time is 6:30pm. Childcare will be provided.
Lunches
The GP On-Line Lunch order site will open for April orders March 20 - April 3rd at 5:00pm. Please make a note in your calendar. The site will come down at 5:00pm on April 3. We know the move to on-line lunch orderinghas been a big change, but thanks for helping us transition to a manageable system.
Hot Dog Lunch- March 21st is our next scheduled lunch!
