Newsletter 06.06.10

Hello Everyone

Competition 05.06.10

A big congratulations to everyone that competed at Perth on a sunny Saturday where we all should have been barbequeing! Particular congratulations to Dee M for qualifying up to Level D, Jack A for qualifying up to F (at last!!!), Katy A for qualifying to SG finals at E U15 and Lucy M and Ellie M for qualifying to SG finals at H U15. Thanks to the coaches, judges and recorders who helped out on the long hot sweaty day in the sports hall!

Summer Holiday

The club will stop on Sundays with the last session being on the 20th Jun 2010. We will restart again on either Sunday 15th or 22nd August depending on availability at Scotstoun. The Thursday class will be informed of arrangements individually for them.

Fees due after Summer Holidays

The Club membership fees will fall due to have been paid by end September as do Scottish Gymnastics membership fees. For those at level H and above FULL competition fees for the year are payable also in advance also to ensure commitment to competitive trampolining. The fees for the sessions in August/September will be added too. Brian will email out all members with the costs during July.

Good luck to the Bens at the British

Ben 1 and Ben 2 (as they are affectionately known) have both qualified for British Gymnastics National Finals at the NIA in Birmingham at the end of July in National C 19 + Men. They are both capable of doing really well and we will keep our fingers crossed for both of them!

Get well soon Callum!

Callum dislocated his elbow 2 days before the competition but is doing well in a plaster cast. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Farewell to Coaches Richard (and Kate- briefly)

Richard is moving to London after this term and we will really miss his cheery face on Sundays – and especially his he-man strength at putting out the trampolines too! We wish him all the best “daaan Saaaf” and hope he will come back and visit us in the future.

Kate is going to Australia for a year (JAMMY!) but fortunately is coming back to us after that! Have a great year and look forward to hearing your stories next summer.

Any questions do drop us an email!
