Board of Directors discuss roles in Giving Hearts Day at Executive Committee Meeting and January Board meeting.
  • Expect 100% participation from all board members and/or organizations- even at $10 level- distribute remaining 5 Giving Hearts Day Buttons to those that would like one that did not get one last year
  • Divide up members in three roles for Giving Hearts Day- would split out lists amongst members for each item.
  1. Open Doors- Email scripted Giving Hearts Day announcement to organizations/health care facilities that might be interested in donating. Call them day before Giving Hearts Day to remind.
  2. Thanking Donors- Call donors of $50 or more during Giving Hearts Day with phone script.
  3. Message Ambassador- help push out message through own facebook and other media, announce at large events in January- use scripted message

Video Featuring 10 Initiatives to increase promotion of ND Center for Nursing, encourage donations and Giving Hearts Day and to promote voting on bank website / All Nurses / Kyle / Feb 1
Social media/website banner countdown from Feb 1- Feb 12th. Will be featured on banner on website and on facebook.
Include customized messages about benefits of 10 programs for:
  • Student Nurses- NSAND
  • Educators- CUNEA
  • Front-Line Nurses- NDNA
  • APRNs- NDNPA, NDANA
  • Nurse Executives-NDONE, ND-NADONA
On the day of each of the customized messages will also ask these groups to push out to their members/nurses / All Nurses / Kyle / Feb 1-12
Facebook Advertising- push out facebook ad on Giving Hearts Day / All Nurses / Kyle / Feb 12
Customize automatic email thank you to include the 10 initiative messaging / All Donors / Kyle / January 30
Send thank you cards to all donors / All Donors / Patricia / February 12-February 25
