Membership—What’s in it for me?
All Aboard--Destination CFWC: Tracks are clear for you at the Double Tree Hilton Ontario Airport Hotel in September. Meeting focus is Membership, emphasis on member retention. Records show we do gain members, but can we keep them.
District Membership Chairmen, please make welcome our special guests. The CFWC Membership Team has planned a “Meet & Greet”for you Friday morning; extends invitation to attend your Area meeting on Friday, and especially take part in the membership workshop on Saturday.
District Presidents will give a 2 minute presentation at this meeting. Topic: Name an idea that you think will increase district meeting attendance—any idea, simple, or out of the ordinary—and how would you overcome any barrier to implement it. “Hmmm…What if we…” Change can be a wonderful gift; it is the door to growth and excitement. But routine is comfortable and new ideas are scary. The members will need to be convinced and assured this is good for them. Some obstacles might be: outdated traditions, outdated procedures, and outdated people.
Area Meetings:District Deans and Membership Chairmen are requested to attend along with their District President.
Meeting Attire:Business casual. Saturday evening is only time to “dress up” if you wish. Friday casual—show us your colors:Purple, red, green, yellow, blue--Friday may be a travel day for some of us, so don’t stress, wear you club membership shirt (if you have one) or your club colors, to demonstrate Strength United is Stronger.
Attendance:It is the responsibility of all Executive Board members to attend the CFWC Executive Board Meetings—remember to sign in. Please plan to check out no earlier than Sunday morning as we have contracted to fill a block of rooms through Saturday night.

Point of Interest: Those flying in, stop by the USOCenter at OntarioInternationalAirport, “old terminal one”. This is a great place to hang out for troops in the Inland Empire with flight layovers or transportation
delays. No government funding, donations appreciated. Others may take hotel shuttle to airport to say hello from CFWC.
