Getting Set up with a Schoology Account

GETTING SET UP WITH A SCHOOLOGY ACCOUNT-MRS. CENA’S CLASS 2015-2016

This is an LMS-a learning management system like MyBigCampus or Edmodo.Please read this whole page prior to starting this sign-up process.

Go to and click on the "Sign Up Free!" button on the middle of the page (or go to

-1.1. Click on the Student button.

-1.2. Enter your Access Code. This code is given to you by your teacher in class.

-1.3. Fill out your First Name, Last Name, Email Addressor Username, Password and Confirm Password. WRITE THESE DOWN INSIDE YOUR PLANNER SO YOU DON’T FORGET! DO NOT INSIST ON MEMORIZING THESE PIECES OF INFORMATION.

IMPORTANT: Registering with a username instead of an email address will require you to login with your School Name. (*email is easiest if you use email already so you don’t have to learn a new username and password.) If you are using a username and password that is completely new, do not make them too complicated.

EXPERIENCED WITH SCHOOLOGY? Students with existing accounts can use an access code I will provide to enroll in the class without having to create a new account. DO NOT create another account for yourself! There is no need.I may be able to find you in the system and add you to my class but you need to see me to make sure its your account.

Whether you are a new Schoology user or an experienced user, you should not create more than one account! Students do this when they forget their username and/or passwords. It is a big headache for the both of us to sort through five accounts belonging to you. You will need to see me personally so we can figure out a solution. Do not wait until the last minute. After September 18th, I won’t use marshallmiddle.org.

After you are set up, I will be able to provide you with a parent code so your parent can get connected to your account. This can only be done after you complete your Schoology registration. But this is optional, not required. Good luck!

Record your schoology login information in your planner, in a safe place at home, or make take a pic of it on your cell phone. Or, ask a parent to record it for you. There is a 99.9% chance you may forget your password this year. If at anytime you forget your information to log in, please refrain from creating a new account. See me so we can fix the problem.
