Getmapping teams-up with Express newspapers to offer a million aerial photographs of homes

All Daily and Sunday Express readers in England and Wales are being offered the chance to receive their own unique aerial image of their homes or any area of choice for free. The offer is the result of a deal struck between Getmapping PLC the UK’s leading provider of digital aerial photography and Express Newspapers.

The special offer requires readers to collect vouchers from copies of the paper and send them together with postage and their postcode. Readers will receive a superb A3 sized print in full colour centred on their postcode covering a ground area of 1680m x 1188m.

Getmapping’s aerial photographs provide a unique ‘bird’s eye’ view of the world. It is possible to see homes and the local community, and any location can be selected such as a birthplace, holiday destination, or sporting venue. Express readers also have the option to choose for their prints to arrive fully framed.

Getmapping has spent 3 years photographing every inch of England, Wales and now much of Scotland as part of its ground-braking aerial survey of Britain. Having complete coverage means that any location can be ordered simply by providing a postcode.

Prints can also be ordered online from Getmapping’s website ( with A3 prints priced at £24.95 inc VAT. For regular business users Getmapping has introduced an online service, which enables customers to pre-view imagery and place an order, which is then delivered as a digital file via e-mail. The imagery can then be used in reports and presentations and printed out as necessary.

Express newspaper circulations are Daily Express 980,946 and Sunday Express 968,547.
