Famous people who have influenced the field of Geometry include Euclid, Rene Descartes, and Poincare. In this course some topics we will be studying are area and volume, two and three dimensional shapes, construction, and properties of right triangles including Pythagorean Theorem and Trigonometric function and much more!

Resources:

Students will be using the Saxon Geometry textbooks. Students will also be using the Aleks program during technology time.

Attendance:

Since daily activities and assignments are an important part of your final grade, I highly recommend that you make every effort to be in my class everyday possible. The math program we are introducing requires each student to complete math problems daily, and frequent absence will severely impact your grade in this class.

I stay for tutoring every Monday evening from 3:00-5:00 and all students are welcome to attend.
