Directors Report – Brian Frazier

  • We have lost 6 A day first mods due to weather. Honors orchestra has been affected with class time.
  • Wind Ensemble and Honors Orchestra will be doing the Side by Side in two weeks. Over 300 students will be participating. Elementary and Middle school students will be here during the day to rehearse. Evening there will be a concert. Great day and helps with recruiting.
  • 3/7 – Festival Concert – All the instrumental groups will participate in that. This concert has an entrance fee that goes towards the scholarship fund.
  • Indoor Percussion and Guard are working hard preparing for their first competition next Saturday!

Treasurer’s Report – Beth Graham

  • Provided attendees with a financial overview.

Funds were created to maintain balances in uniform, tractor trailer and electronic funds.

We need $5000 from our current balance moved over to our specific savings accounts. All booster members in attendance vote yes to approve decision.

Uniform fund – $2000/year

Tractor trailer fund – $2000/year

Electronic fund - $1000/year

Beth will transfer money to maintain these accounts.

● Past Events:

○ All County Orchestra and All County Band – Orchestra is done. 14 kids preformed and did well.

Band Concert has been moved from February 17 to February 24.

○ Tubing at Liberty Mountain – 6 people attended

  • Basketball Pep-Band – Went well…The kids had a good time doing something different and they had a good response.
  • 11 Students went down to do the band for the filming of ‘That’s Academic’. The air date for that will be sent out in an e-mail.

● Upcoming Events:

○ Bag and Basket Bingo 2/16 Gamber Fire Hall – Sign up Genius is out! We are in need of people to help as volunteers and donations. Need help putting up signs & flyers.

○ Indoor Percussion and Guard Performance - 2/17 Glen Rock PA (see directors note above) **Percussion performs at 2:59pm & Guard at 6:28pm

○ Pizza Sales - Orders due by 2/20 – Joe Corbi – please look for the flyers your student should have brought home.

○ Side by Side concert 2/21 WHS (see directors note)

Next restaurant night 3/13 at Greene Turtle from Open to close

April will be Firehouse Subs

● New Items:

○ Hershey Park Trip – June 2 – Performance in the morning – Hershey Park in the afternoon - $40 per student (boosters and CCPS cover about $50)– there will be a t-shirt required if they do not already have one from last year.

○ IMB Board nominations – There is a two-year limit for President, Vice-President and Secretary. Both Michele Saelens (secretary) and Bea Bordzol (vice president) will need to be replaced. Nominations will be in March and Elections will be in April. Anyone who would like to nominate someone for any of these positions (President, VP or secretary) can send an e-mail to
