Agency wellness program updates
Expert Speaker – Jill Haring, StayWell: Reported on key findings report for StayWell. Jill went over the introduction which included discussion on the Health Solutions overview, the history of the health assessment, and industry trends. She then discussed the health risk results which included an executive summary, joint collaboration, EAP success/enhancements, and risk reduction highlights. Expert Speaker – Josephine Opong-Vaughn: Josephine gave presentation on EAP report, you can view the full report from the attachment link in the agenda items for EAP report.
Revenue: Discussed Health & Wellness Policy Procedure they have been working on for the past two years. They should hear back from senior leadership for approval as of April 12, 2018.
Department of Health: Holly Glaubitz talked about project called “Health at Every Size” which is a focus on being healthy at any size movement that they are discussing.
Retirement Systems: MSRS inquiry about options for EAP videos for agencies. Goal or question is to how to get rid of the stigma of EAP that is only for “crisis” happening in life. AWC group discussed about LifeMatters video on SEGIP Health Solutions web site that agencies could utilize to talk about all the services/topics available through EAP such as relationships, financial, health, workplace, legal, emotional wellbeing, legal forms, assessments, training center, calculators, recipes, and resilience.
