CRITERIA FOR CONSIDERATION FOR THE 2016 COURT

Please read the information carefully. Be sure you and your parent(s) or guardian(s)understand these rules and criteria, as we will not make exceptions for any student for anyreason. To be considered for the court, each candidate must:

Be a CURRENT RHS student.

Have at least a 2.5 weighted GPA

Have NO LEVEL 3 REFERRALS since 8/29/16.

Have NO Out-of-School Suspensions since 8/29/16.

Have 25 signatures from classmates, supporting your candidacy for court

Receive THREE faculty/staff signatures from current RHS teachers

Turn in ALL FORMS by Wednesday, October 5th, 2016to Hall or Smet by 2:20 p.m.

NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED FOR ANY REASON!

During the Fall Sports Pep Rally, students will be voting for King and Queen from the court.Seniors are eligible for King & Queen positions. All members of court will be introduced before results are announced.

PLEDGE OF RESPONSIBILITY

I, ______, realize that my duties and responsibilities as a candidate for the 2016RHS Homecoming Court include the following:

  1. I must maintain a weighted GPA of at least 2.5.
  2. I must at all times set a good example as a RHS representative. I understand that my discipline record and grades could prevent me from being eligible.
  3. I will cooperate fully with SGA Sponsors and RHS Administration.
  4. I will abide by ALL the rules and regulations outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.
  5. I will be appropriately dressed for all Homecoming activities. Failure to adhere to the school and district dress code WILL result in my exclusion from those activities.
  6. Voting for Homecoming King/Queen will take place during/after the Fall Sports Pep Rally. There will be no late or absentee voting.
  7. Students who win Homecoming Queen and Homecoming King cannot win Prom Queen and Prom King.
  8. If, for any reason, I cannot or do not fulfill any or all of these responsibilities, I understand that I will be eliminated from participation.
