General Event information:
Date: Saturday, 2nd December 2017
Venue: Letchworth Hall Hotel, Letchworth Lane, Letchworth Garden City SG6 3NP. Important Note: There is a separate entrance for the Alington Suite and Marston Suite which is where our event is being held.
Time: Registration open from 9.00am and the event will finish at 4pm
Cost: Adult:£25 (Children over 12)
Child:£15 (Children 5– 12)
Child:no charge (children under 5)
RTS:no charge
Carer:no charge (Please allocate one person per family as a carer)

Challenging behaviour can happen at any age and in many different ways. There can be many different reasons why children or adults can begin expressing challenging behaviour, and this can be difficult to deal with for any parent, carer or teacher. This talk will provide information on a variety of challenging behaviour, how to look for a possible cause and understand the behaviour. We will also discuss ways to manage different challenging behaviours and where to find additional information.

How to book: Online booking is available on our website Please use this system if possible. But if not, you can send a cheque made payable to RTS Support Group for the full amount, detailing on a separate note full details of those attending and cost related. Also full contact details including address. Please post to Maxine Aldred, RTS Support Group, 45 Kyme Road, Heckington, Sleaford NG34 9RS.
Hotel bedrooms – 1st December: We are holding some rooms at the hotel as it is their busy time. We have 2 accessible (wet rooms) and some twin/double and family rooms. Cost: Twin/Double/ Accessible room: £85 B & B. Family room: 2 adults, 2 children: £105 B & B. To book contact reservations at the hotel 01462 683747 and state you are with the RTS Support Group event on 2nd December and they are to apply the RTS Support Group preferential rate.
Créche:Créche available from 9am to 12.00pm. We will take bookings prior tothe event and you will be contacted with details on how to book. You MUST bookyour place as we have limited space.
There will also be an unsupervised play area. Please note parents are responsible in this area.
Tombola and On the Day Raffle: We will have a tombola, on the day raffle with 1st prize a 32” TV. We would be grateful if you could bring along a tombola and/or raffle prize.
RTS Has Talent and Celebration of Achievements: Every small step our RTS individuals make is a major achievement and we want to celebrate. We will have a presentation show at the beginning of RTS Has Talent session. If you take a look at our website you will see the Celebration of Achievement presentation from our July event. This is what we are looking for. Snippets and a photo(s) of the great things that are being achieved. We will introduce this going forward into every event and every newsletter to ensure we recognise these successes.
