URBAN POOR SUMMIT / Limited opportunity to market barangay products.
Product marketing strategy and product enhancement are livelihood issues for product enhancement.
The women bear the burden of poverty. / Establish linkages/networks with the grassroots to encourage livelihood initiatives.

Conduct Urban Poor Summit
Invitation to attend the Luzon-wide Urban Poor Summit. / Provided the equipment self-sucking water pump for the ginger tea making program of Loakan Apugan Women’s Org. and the PTCA of the Springhills Elementary School
Conducted the Urban Poor Summit on September 6, 2012 at the Multipurpose Hall, Baguio City Hall, from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.

PROGRAMS ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN / Discrimination and violence against women and children persist. / Heighten awareness of the public and stakeholders.
Advocacy to end VAW, the 18-day campaign is a GAD institutionalized annual activity to heighten awareness of the general public/stakeholders. / A.Conducted the “Forum on Justice and Healing for service providers and survivors of Gender based violence.” (Action Plan 2011) on May 29, 2012 at the Multipurpose Hall, Baguio City Hall.

DAY CARE SERVICES AS SUPPORT STRUCTURE / Day Care Services, is a GAD support structure. / Provision of uniforms for the 91 Day Care Workers (DCW) in Baguio City. / Included the provision of upper uniform only (blouse and polo) for the 91 Day Care Workers, as GAD support program. / P45,500.00
for upper uniform only for DCWs (89 blouses, 2 polos) / The upper uniforms provided is in lieu of the unimplemented travel to Naga City to observe the EDUCARE program, as contained in the GAD Action Plan for the year 2011.
