Vitodens 300-W, 333-F and 343-F: running a heating system like a smartphone
TheVitotronic 200 control for gas condensing wall-mounted and compact units in the Vitodens 300 series now has a user interface with a color touch display. This makes it even easier to use, since a light touch on the high-quality display is enough to run through the menus and enter commands with the swipe of a fingertip, just like on a smartphone. The new user interface responds immediately and precisely to every touch.
Energy cockpit
Theenergy cockpit display shows time programs, for instance, and the detailed charging status of the DHW cylinder in the form of an immediately understandable colored chart. Thus, every user can quickly and easily get an overview.
One control for heat and ventilation
With the Vitotronic 200 control, you can now also control the Vitovent 300-W and 300-C central home ventilation units. So only one control isneeded for two systems – heat and ventilation.
Assistantfor a quick and safe initial start-up procedure
An assistant feature that automatically recognizes the connected heating circuit components aids the heating contractor during the initial start-up procedure for the units. He is taken through the necessary settings in five steps. This guarantees a simple, safe, and fast start-up procedure.
Online withVitoconnect
As an option, the gas condensing boilers can go online through the easy-to-install, plug-and-play Vitoconnect interface available as an accessory. Thus, the units can be controlled with the free ViCare app on a smartphone. Then temperature settings and time programs can be adjusted quite easily and individually with the heating periods assistant.
At the request of the operator, moreover, a selected specialist company can monitor the system over the Internet. Following activation, the specialist partner is able to gather information on the state of the system through Vitoguide. They can identify possible malfunctions and maintenance requirements in due time and plan their work in advance.
Highly efficient heat generation with gas
The wall-mounted Vitodens 300-Wunit with outputs up to 35 kW and the compact Vitodens 333-Funit (up to 26 kW) with an integrated stainless steel primary cylinder for very comfortable DHW heating are part of the Vitodens 300 series of gas condensing boilers. A stainless steel solar cylinder as well as all components necessary for connecting solar collectors are already built into the compact Vitodens 343-F unit (up to 19 kW).
Automatic adjustment to the type of gas
All units are highly efficient thanks to a combination of a MatriX gas burner and a stainless steel radial heat exchanger. Viessmann grants a ten-year warranty against leaks due to corrosionon the heat exchanger ( The Lambda Pro combustion control ensures that the high degree of efficiency is constantly maintained even if the gas quality fluctuates. When changing over fromgas group LL (very low calorific) to gas group E (high calorific), as is now being undertaken in many regions of Germany, the units automatically adjust to the new fuel without requiring a contractor to lend a hand. In addition, the self-calibrating burner control lengthens the intervals between visits by the chimney sweep from two to three years.

New Lambda Pro Control Plus combustion control
The Vitodens 200 series of wall-mounted and compact units up to 35 kW (Vitodens 200-W, 222-W, 222-F and 242-F) are efficient heat generators for single-family and two-family homes, as well as apartments. Innovative technology makes them even more comfortable and easier to install and service than before. All changes in the gas supply, as well as the conditions of the air and exhaust gas, are compensated autonomously.
Always burns clean and efficiently
Lambda Pro Control Plus is the logical further development of the time-tested Lambda Pro control. No matter if there is a changebetweengas group LL (very low calorific), gas group E (high calorific), or liquid gas, the new combustion control automatically adjusts the gas condensing boiler without requiring any manual changes.
The self-calibrating combustion control has always been able to identify fluctuations in gas quality and automatically compensate by adjusting the mixture of gas and air. Thus, combustion always stays steady, clean, and highly efficient.
Natural gaschangeover – no problem thanks to Lambda Pro Control Plus
By 2029, 4.3 million homeowners in Germany will gradually be changing from gas group LL (very low calorific) to the more energy-rich gas group E (high calorific). This a good opportunity for homeowners to replace their old gas heating systems with a Lambda Pro Control Plus gas condensing boiler. The Vitodens 200 series condensing boilers will run just as reliably and efficiently after the changeover in the gas grid as before, without any manual adjustment. Thus, homeowners with the combustion control need not worry about the changeover and have the additional advantage of an efficient heating system for their home.
Automatic exhaust gas path adaption
The automatic exhaust gas path adaption in the Vitodens 200 series wall-mounted and compact gas condensing units now automatically adjusts the burner fans to the resistance in the respective exhaust gas line. For this purpose, the integrated mass flow sensor determines the actual amount of combustion air and adjusts it to the optimal burning conditions by changing the rotary speed of the burner fan. Manual changes, such as installing restrictors or setting the control on site are thus unnecessary.
Comfortable control by smartphone
The Vitoconnect Internet interface enables the Vitodens 200 series heat generators to go online simply by means of plug and play. Homeowners can then control their heating systems comfortably ontheir smartphone with the free ViCare app. In addition, Vitoguide enables a specialist Viessmann partner to monitor the system.
Quickly installed with unique, innovativeplug-in technology
Installing the Vitodens 200-W wall-mounted gas condensing boilers is now especially easy and time saving thanks to an innovative plug-in technology unique on the market. As soon as the unit is put on the console of the installation aid, all heating and DHW lines are already connected tightly and securely to the grid – without screws, clamps, or soldering, so no special tools are needed. Only the gas connection has to be screwed on, since this is prescribed by the German Technical Regulations for Gas Installations (TRGI) or the Technical Regulations for Liquid Gas (TRF).

Vitodens 200-W: new cascade system enables space- and time-saving installation
Space-saving, flexible, and quickly installed – the cascade system lets you run up to six wall-mounted Vitodens 200-W (rated output from 49 kW) gas condensing boilers. Six Vitodens 200-W, each with 99 kW, generate a maximum heat output of 594 kW – enough to heat even large commercial buildings. Yet the new cascade system only takes up a small space. A cascade of three is now only 2.3 meters wide and requires a ceiling height of only two meters, which is 40 centimeters less than the cascades commonly found on the market.
Flexible set-up
The new, modular system can be adapted to all heating rooms, whether it is mounted on a wall or freestanding,set up in a row, as a block, or across corners. Its modular design offers the additional advantage of being able to easily transport the individual components through narrow halls and stairways, and even in a passenger elevator.
Fast and easy installation
Thanks to the new twin-pipe system for heat flow and return, the cascade is fast and easy to install. Flow and return run through a divided collector pipe. This cuts in half the number of sealing points, and thus the installation time, as well. The cascade can be adapted to various heating networks by installing either a hydraulic separator or a plate-type heat exchanger.
Stainless steel radial heat exchanger with a ten-year warranty
As with all Vitodens gas condensing boilers, a stainless steel radial heat exchanger and a MatriX burner in the Vitodens 200-W ensure efficient, environmentally compatible generation of more than 49 kW of rated output. Viessmann grants a ten-year warranty on the corrosion-free, stainless steel radial heat exchanger for leaks due to corrosion (
The Lambda Pro Control combustion control ensures that the condensing boilers’ high level of efficiency is maintained even if the gas quality fluctuates. In addition, it simplifies the initial start-up procedure, since there is no need to adjust for the respective type of natural gas group LL (very low calorific) or natural gas group E(high calorific).
Vitotronic 300-K cascade control
TheVitotronic 300-K cascade control with a plain text display and graphic support is extremely comfortable to operate. There is no problem integrating the heating system into central building management systems.
