(Mar & Nov Sectionals;May & Sept BBQ Swisses)

From I-80/I-580 eastbound: Exit at Central Ave, turn right, & follow Central until it dead ends at Ashbury, then turn left. Ashbury dead ends at Moeser; either cross it directly into the ECCC lot or park nearby on the street.

From I-80 westbound, you have 3 options:

a)same as above, except turn left on Central (simple, but a bit of a double-back).

b)Exit at Carlson Blvd, turn L, go under the freeway, then take immediate L on Tehama (at the motel), go up & over the hill to San Pablo, take the forced R on San Pablo, then L @ the first light (Moeser) & up a few blocks to ECCC, which is on your left. (a tad more direct than old directions below & 4fewer traffic lights).

c)Exit at Cutting, then L to San Pablo, R on SP, L on Moeser.

Via City Streets: Simplest is via San Pablo Ave from either direction to Moeser, but if you come from the Berkeley hills east of SP Ave, Arlington, Aveo (turn R off upper Stockton), Ashbury, & Richmond all cross Moeser, so you don’t have to come all the way down. Check a local map or Mapquest/Google Maps online for your best route.

From I-80/580 eastbound: Exit at Central, turn R, then follow Central to the dead-end @ Ashbury, L to the dead end @ Moeser, R on Moeser, then L on Arlington @ the top of the hill - it’s roughly .8 mile from there to the site

From I-80 westbound: Exit at Cutting, L to San Pablo, L on Potrero, then R on Arlington (stop sign at Potrero’s end). Clubhouse will be on your left about 1.1 miles away

City Streets: From north of Potrero, San Pablo to McBryde/Barrett/McDonald/Cutting/Potrero. Turn L, then R when you reach Arlington – clubhouse is on left just past tennis courts. From the south flatlands, San Pablo to Moeser, R on Moeser, L on Arlington. Clubhouse is just past the playground on your right. From NE Berkeley, find a route to Henry, go north, then take Del Norte to the Marin Circle to Arlington.

WATCH YOUR SPEED ON ARLINGTONWITHIN EL CERRITO (posted limit is 25)!

Motorcycle cops hide in driveways, sometimes on side streets; patrol cars hide on side streets. Theyrun radar traps (rarely btwn Moeser & the CH; often btwn the CH & Cutting)to catch folx going downhill whilst not paying attention!

------

Kensington part (begins .25 mile S of Moeser), is tougher to speed on & rarely patrolled; southbound part in Berkeley is downhill & an ideal spot for a radar trap, but we’ve not heard of any from the regulars who use that route to go home.
