June – August 2013 DARE TO BE DIGITAL – TEAM LEAD/LEVEL DESIGNER
-Working in a team of 5 to create a unique and immersive augmented reality experience. Making sure that augmented reality is core feature in the game rather than a gimmick.
-Assembling the team to make sure everyone keeps on schedule, as well as checking that communication was present among all members to create the best work environment.
-To design both levels for the game and work with the environment artist to create the 3d model. Create the pacing, feel and overall gameplay element of the game.
-Responsible for marketing the game to the public and working with the team to come up with a business plan.
June 2012 – June 2013 FOG MEDIA – GAME DEVELOPER
-Briefed with a game concept,I then created the logic, gameplay and levels for the game brief I was given. I worked alongside the artist to make sure our visions were on the same page for the game. Provided the artist with the assets lists he needed for the games.
-FOG Media wanted to expand their market so I was given a few games to port over to other consoles e.g. phones, tablets or OUYA. I would optimize the game for the chosen platform; then I implement the new control system to the game.
-Once other game developers had finished their games I would then be tasked with testing their games and make notes on any bugs I could find.
-I worked with some of the marketing team to develop a business strategy for the game and how we intended to increase sales figures.
