1. Jim Craft gave updates on construction projects.
2. The board approved the July Financial Report.
3. The board accepted the resignation of David Perry as the Assistant Middle School Principal, effective August 15, 2012 and employed him as the Career Development Transition Project Coordinator on 2-year contract, 222 workdays per year, at Step G10.5; effective August 16, 2012.
4. The board employed Brad Harris as a teacher for the 2012-2013 school year at 150 hours and 10 years experience.
5. The board employed Jonathan Green as a 6 Hour Custodian, effective August 20, 2012.
6. The board extended Donna Shaver’s hours as a Cook from 4 to 6, effective August 16, 2016.
7. The board approved the list of supplemental contracts for the 2012-2013 school year.
8. The board approved the following substitute personnel for the 2012-2013 school year:
a. Jennifer Blazer - Aide, Cook, Secretary
b. Ashley DeLille - Teacher
c. Janice Henry - Teacher
d. Gloria Houchens - Teacher
e. George Miller - Teacher
f. Shirin Nuggud - Teacher
g. Benjamin Stairs - Teacher
h. Ricky Stout - Bus Driver
i. Waleska Wray - Teacher
9. The board eliminated the Courier position, effective August 15, 2012.
10. The board approved the following job descriptions/salary schedule:
a. Attendance Officer
b. Salary schedule for Attendance Officer
c. Assistant Band Director/Marching Band/Percussion Instructor
d. Assistant Choir
11. The board approved the resignation of Lisa Jo Blakeman as Teacher, effective August 15, 2012 and employed her as the Assistant Middle School Principal on a 2-year contract; 212 workdays per year, at Step F0 on the Administrative Salary Schedule; effective August 16, 2012.
12. The board employed Mindy Foster as a 6 Hour Aide at Step 0 on the Classified Salary Schedule, effective August 21, 2012.
13. The board approved the following contracts/agreements:
a. Gallia County Board of DD - Physical Therapy
b. Gallia County Board of DD - Occupational Therapy
c. Ohio Governmental Financial Management, Inc. for Professional Services
d. Gallia County Department of Job and Family Services - Workforce Investment Act

f. Gallia County Interagency Agreement - Program Coordination for Transition and Services for Part C and Part B
14. The board approved posting the semiannual summary of incidents of bullying on the Gallipolis City School District website.
15. The board approved the proposed bus routes and stops for the 2012-2013 school year.
16. The board approved the Policy IKB, Homework.
