On page 13, after line 23, add the following new sections as follows:

"Section 9. The Transportation Cabinet shall name United States Route 25 E from Interstate 75 in Corbin to the Cumberland Gap Tunnel the "Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail" at each end of the route identified in this section, and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 10. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the entire segment of Kentucky Route 15 in Breathitt County the "Breathitt County Veterans Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "Breathitt County Veterans Highway" on Kentucky Route 15 at the Breathitt County/Wolfe County line and the Breathitt County/Perry County line, and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 11. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the segment of Kentucky Route 72 in Harlan County, beginning at the southernmost city limits for the City of Harlan and ending at the junction of Kentucky Route 72 and County Road 1216, the "1932 Yancey Mine Disaster Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs along the segment of Kentucky Route 72 identified in this section that read "1932 Yancey Mine Disaster Memorial Highway."

Section 12. The Transportation Cabinet shall name Kentucky Route 1357 in Hardin County, also known as St. John's Road, from its junction with Kentucky Route 3005 to its junction with Kentucky Route 1375, the "Sheriff Bobby Thomas Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs on the segment of Kentucky Route 1357 identified in this section that read "Sheriff Bobby Thomas Memorial Highway."

Section 13. The Transportation Cabinet shall name United States Route 421 the "Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway" beginning at the northern city limits of the City of Manchester in Clay County, continuing through Clay and Jackson Counties, and ending at the Rockcastle County line. The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs periodically along United States Route 421 beginning at the northern city limits of the City of Manchester in Clay County, continuing through Clay and Jackson Counties, and ending at the Rockcastle County line that read "Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway."

Section 14. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the section of Kentucky Route 245 currently under construction for Kentucky Route 1430 to Kentucky Route 332 the "Christopher Leo Hite Memorial Highway" and shall erect appropriate signs identifying the route upon completion of the road.

Section 15. The Transportation Cabinet shall name Kentucky Route 54 from the intersection with Haynes Station Road in Daviess County (mile point 13.36) to the Ohio County line the "PFC David Paulie Nash Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "PFC David Paulie Nash Memorial Highway" at each end of the route identified in this section and at appropriate intervals in-between. The cabinet shall include on the signs an indication that PFC Nash was a recipient of the Medal of Honor.

Section 16. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the new Kentucky Route 80, currently under construction between Kentucky Route 402 and Kentucky Route 94, the "Euris Chaney Connector." The cabinet shall, upon completion of construction, erect signs designating the "Euris Chaney Connector" at each end of the route specified in this section, and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 17. The Transportation Cabinet shall name United States Route 119 from the Joan Asher Cawood Bridge to the Harlan County line the "Kentucky Veterans Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "Kentucky Veterans Highway" at each end of the route specified in this section, and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 18. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the entire length of United States Route 62 in Lyon County the "Veterans Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs on United States Route 62 at the Lyon County/Livingston County line, the Lyon County/Caldwell County line, and at appropriate intervals in between that read "Veterans Memorial Highway."

Section 19. The Transportation Cabinet shall name Kentucky Route 112 the "Dr. Loman C. Trover Highway" beginning at the intersection of Main Street and Railroad Street in Earlington, Kentucky and continuing to the junction of Kentucky Route 112 and United States Route 62. The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "Dr. Loman C. Trover Highway" at each end of the route specified in this section, and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 20. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the bridge on Kentucky Route 109 over the Trade Water River at mile marker 0.25 near the town of Dawson Springs the "Dudley Riley Bridge." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs to each approach of the bridge identified in this section that read "Dudley Riley Bridge."

Section 21. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the bridge number B00013 on Kentucky Route 292, which crosses the Wolf Creek in Martin County, the "John C. Cline Memorial Bridge." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs to each approach of the bridge identified in this section that read "John C. Cline Memorial Bridge."

Section 22. The Transportation Cabinet shall name United States Route 421 in Madison County from United States Route 25 to Kentucky Route 1016 the "Battlefield Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "Battlefield Memorial Highway" at each end of the route identified in this section, and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 23. The Transportation Cabinet shall name Kentucky Route 70 from the intersection with Reservoir Street in Central City (Kentucky Route 277) to the Hopkins County line the "Tom Christerson Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "Tom Christerson Memorial Highway" at each end of the route identified in this section and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 24. The Transportation Cabinet shall rename the Paris By-Pass in Bourbon County the "Thoroughbred Run." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs on the Paris By-Pass that read "Thoroughbred Run."

Section 25. The Transportation Cabinet shall name Interstate 65 in Jefferson County the "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs at the Kentucky/Indiana state line, the Jefferson County/Bullitt County line, and at appropriate intervals in between that read "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Highway."

Section 26. The Transportation Cabinet shall name United States Route 68 in Mercer County from the intersection with Kentucky Route 152 to the Boyle County line the "Charles H. McGinnis Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "Charles H. McGinnis Memorial Highway" at each end of the route identified in this section, and at appropriate intervals in between.

Section 27. The Transportation Cabinet shall name the bridge on United States Route 119 over United States Route 23 in Letcher County (mile marker 28.08) the "Cpl. Joshua D. Harris Memorial Bridge." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs at each approach to the bridge identified in this section that read "Cpl. Joshua D. Harris Memorial Bridge."

Section 28. The Transportation Cabinet shall name Kentucky Route 11 in Mason, Fleming, Bath, Montgomery, and Powell Counties "The Veterans Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs that read "The Veterans Highway" along Kentucky Route 11 in each county identified in this section.

Section 29. The Transportation Cabinet shall name bridge number B00069 in Johnson County located on United States Route 23 and the junction of the Licking Fork, CSX Railroad, and Kentucky Route 825 the "World War II Veterans Memorial Bridge." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs at each approach to the bridge identified in this section that read "World War II Veterans Memorial Bridge."

Section 30. The Transportation Cabinet shall name Kentucky Route 74 in Bell County as the "Reverand Hobart Dail Sowders Memorial Highway." The cabinet shall, within 30 days of the effective date of this Act, erect signs along the route identified in this section that read "Reverand Hobart Dail Sowders Memorial Highway." ".
