FCC Wire Center trial updates (GN Docket No. 12-353)

  • Mark Lancaster reported that there has been no direct activity.

New Contributions:

Suzanne Addington, on behalf of Sprint, proposed a topic for discussion. The proposal was for 10-digit nationwide dialing as mentioned in a presentation from Dr. Henning Schulzrinne in February, 2012.

Following lengthy discussions it was decided that instead of making this an official topic we create a new agenda item called Discussion Items. This will allow more dialogue on various numbering issues and would be a more efficient use of resources as it would avoid the need for subgroups and committees. Should the topic need more action then an FTN could be assigned.

The FoN welcomes any suggestions that members have regarding new contributions. Contribution Forms are available for your convenience online at: Forms can be submitted to the tri-chairs and will be distributed to the group for review.
