Future Earth at the UN Ocean Conference

A landmark event for ocean sustainability

On 5 to 9 June, researchers, policy experts, environmental advocates and more gathered in New York City for the United Nations Ocean Conference – a summit that examined how the world can meet sustainability targets for the ocean.

Future Earth names Amy Luers as new Executive Director
Future Earth is thrilled to announce that Dr. Amy Luers will step in as the programme's Executive Director in September 2017. Dr. Luers has over 20 years experience working on sustainability at the intersection of science, technology and policy, most recently at Skoll Global Threats Fund where she directs the climate and water programmes.
