- Analyze academic articles determining two or more central ideas, and provide a complex analysis with an objective summary.
- Further develop writing skills through Writer’s Workshop.
- Connect and identify complex themes in Native Son, and clearly articulate their findings using textual evidence from their dialectical journals to support their discoveries.
- Engage in a collaborative group discussion using textual evidence to support their ideas, and synthesize comments, claims, and evidence presented by their peers.
