Full-Time Residential Aide Supervisor

Queen of Peace Center has an opportunity for a Residential Aide Supervisor.

Queen of Peace center is a family-centered behavioral healthcare provider for women with addiction, their children and families. The gender focused female recovery center provides a variety of treatment options to women with co-occurring disorders and those affected by trauma. We are located in the Central West End of St. Louis, MO.

Position Summary:

1)Management and supervision of Queen of Peace Center’s Cathedral Tower (CT) residential staff

a)Communicate and enforce standards of performance and expectations as outlined in the residential handbook

b)Responsible for the discipline and accountability of CT residential staff

c)Responsible for conducting annual staff performance evaluations

d)Model appropriate professional behavioral for residential staff

e)Prepare for and conduct residential staff meeting

f)Oversee and conduct training and orientation of new staff

g)Responsible for creating and amending residential schedule and ensuring shift coverage

h)Required to be accessible and on call after hours

i)Ensure the quality, timeliness and content of residential staff documentation by conducting weekly file reviews

2)Responsible for the supervision of residential clients, their children and outpatient clients in accordance with the QOPC and CSTAR policies and procedures

a)Teach and role model care of infants and children to clients

b) Maintain safety and cleanliness of the residential floor and assign of client chores

c)Facilitate and assist with client psychiatric appointments at QOPC

d)Monitor client whereabouts

e)Conduct weekly, unannounced searches on all client residential quarters and document searches on the appropriate form

f)Operate QOPC vehicle for client transportation or other program needs

g)Ability to clearly communicate expectations and consequences to clients

h)Responsible for working assigned residential shift and competently conducting residential duties including but not limited to medication administration, urinalysis testing and necessary client documentation

Qualifications:

Associates in Human Services or other related field, or a certification issued through the Missouri Credentialing Board and 2 years’ experience managing a behavioral health residential environment. Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health is essential. Typing and computer skills are required. An ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a

fast-paced environment is a must. Must have and maintain a Class E driver’s license. Med. Tech. Level I certification, Adult/Child CPR, and First Aid certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
