Inspect buckles, D-rings, snaps, thimbles, and wear pads. They shall not be distorted or have sharp edges, burrs, cracks, or worn parts.
Make sure the buckles work freely.
All fibers shall be free of frayed or broken fiber, pulled stitches, tears, abrasions, mold, burns or discoloration.
Inspect the webbing by bending and pressing over a 1.5" diameter object. Look for broken fibers.
Labels should be present and fully legible.
Clean with appropriate water and soap. Store in a clean, cool, dark, dry area free of chemical fumes.
