PHASE I

  • Review and Print 1 copy of FCAT Multiple Year Data Report from Virtual Counselor for each class. In addition, FAIR Data will be posted on CAB for students who took this assessment for your review. Highlight the students who show a consistent decline in their trend data.
  • Please have everything completed in your binder for your department administrator by September 18, 2015.
  • You will maintain this binder throughout the year.
  • You will be responsible for creating a typed action plan/strategies for these students. (Keep this on your computer as you will revise this throughout the year) This plan will be based on the data and weaknesses mapped out by you for your students. (Common Assessments) This information will assist you as you recommend students for academic RtI. This will be a written document that will accompany your data at all times and will be reviewed by administration during PLC’s. Please place this in TAB 2.
  • This plan will allow you to track students’ progress through data and data chats as the year progresses. The first chats will be held the week of TBA, after the BSA (Broward Standards Assessment – This has replaced BAFS and will only take place one time this year. This assessment will cover all of the standards on the FSA) results come in.

  • After BSA data is loaded into Virtual Counselor we will move into PHASE II of our data process
