Subject: 2011 Wills for Heroes Events

Hi everyone -

Welcome to a new year of Wills for Heroes events. We are very excited to have so many opportunities to volunteer, locally and in other counties. I have listed below all of the events we have scheduled to date.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Wills for Heroes program, we offer free estate planning documents to local first responders (firefighters, police officers, EMT, sworn personnel). We typically hold these events at the first responder's location and we supply all of the equipment and supplies.

We are calling upon you to volunteer and make this another successful year. We always in need of attorneys, paralegals, law students, notaries and witnesses. Volunteers do not need to practice trust and estate law. We will be providing a mini-course the morning of the event to familiarize volunteers with what they need to know. Most events run from 9 am - 5 p.m. with training from 9 - 11. We ask everyone to attend training (even if you have attended before). We have a few new procedures and would like everyone to be fresh on the Hot Docs software. We hope to be able to offer fee CLE credit for the training.

May 21st – Milford Twp. Fire Dept., Milford, Bucks County

June 4th – Ottsville Fire Dept. and Police Dept., Ottsville, Bucks County

June 18th - Bart Township Fire Dept., Bart, Lancaster County
