Following is the twelfth annual report showing the items of discussion and accomplishments of the 2006-2007 Faculty Council. One should also remember that a good deal of the council’s business consists of being a sounding board for ideas and a conduit of information to and from the administration, council appointed committees, faculty, staff, and students. The council met twenty-seven times during the 2006-2007 academic year. The report is intended to remind council of where it has been by reviewing what matters were considered during the previous year. (Numbers in parentheses in parts II and III refer to the Faculty Council meeting at which the item was taken up.)
