Countryside Childcare & Learning Center, at 4 Countryside Lane in Ringwood, is looking for a responsible senior to work in their center. Hours are Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. For more information, please call 973-556-5915.

All Star Kids Academy, a licensed childcare center at 21 Greenwood Lake Turnpike in Ringwood is seeking an honor student to help students in 3rd to 6th grade with homework. School transcripts/grades will be required along with two reference letters. Hours: Monday – Thursday from 3:45 to 5:45 working with up to four children. Contact Beata at 973-839-0737.

NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Class of 2016 Clothing Sale is now going on through October 19th. All orders must be in by the 19th. Order forms can be found on the class bulletin board by the cafe or on Ms.Haftek's Faculty page.


REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENTS

The first Class of 2016 Class Council meeting of the school year will take place TODAY, Tuesday, September 10, at 2:45 p.m. in Room 101. All sophomores are welcome to attend. Join in the planning of events and fundraisers for your class!

There will be an FBLA meeting on Tuesday, September 10th after school in Room 5. Any questions, see Mr. McCurnin.

Yearbook Club's first meeting will be on Thursday, September 12th after school in Room 411. Any questions, see Ms. Benack.

The first Drama Club meeting of the year will be after school on Tuesday, September 17th at a LOCATION TO BE DETERMINED. Any questions, see Mr. Truong

The SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will meet on Thursday, September 12, at 2:45 p.m. in Room 101. All students are welcome to attend! This group is a great way to make a difference at Lakeland and within our communities. All you have to bring is your smile and positive energy.

See what’s cooking in the Culinary Club! The Culinary Club will have its first meeting on Tuesday, September 17, at 2:45 p.m. in Room 112. Bring a treat to share. Members must have taken a Foods class.

Yearbook Pictures will be taken on Wednesday and Thursday, September 25 and 26, during Blocks 3 and 4 in the Lecture Hall for all underclassmen and all staff members. Study hall teachers are encouraged to take their entire classes to the Lecture Hall. Please coordinate dates and times with other study hall teachers to avoid long lines.

Students who do not have ID cards must see Ms. Suter in the Main Office before September 25.

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN: Make a difference in your class. Run for your Class Council! Candidate Packets are available in the Main Office or see Mr. Placenti. The election runs from Wednesday, September 4, to Thursday, September 19. Important election dates and information can be found in the Candidate Packet.
