Dear Parents,

This week students will read a story called “The Garden” from Frog and Toad Together. In this story, Toad admires the beautiful garden Frog has, and wishes to have one like it. Frog shows Toad how to care for a garden, and Toad works hard to make a garden. This week students will read and spell words with r-controlled an as in star. Students will read and spell words with inflected endings

-ed and -ing. In writing students will work on a letter to the character Jan.
