The disclosure log summarises responses to requests we’ve handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
· Requester sought the most recent application for National Portfolio status by Royal Exchange Theatre. This information was partially provided with redactions under Section 43 (2).
· Requester sought details of funding awards in theatre, dance and music between 1st April 2015 and 31st December 2016. This information was partially provided with redactions under Section 43 (2).
· Request from the police concerning details of a grant. Full disclosure was provided.
· Requester sought a list of arts organisations, museums and libraries who will receive grants in 2016 and 2017. This request was declined under Section 21 as the information was publicly available.
· Requester sought information about the Reviewing Committee on the Export of Works of Art and Objects of Cultural Interest, concerning current contracts with third party suppliers. The information was provided.
· Requester sought information on the granting of an Export Licence for the 16th century portrait miniature of Sir John Godsalve. The information was provided, with exemptions under Section 44.
· Requester sought a copy of the application for Mary Talbot’s The Red Virgin & the Vision of Utopia. This was partially provided with redactions under Section 40 (2).
· Requester sought a copy of the latest application form made by Unlimited. This was partially provided with Section 40 (2) redactions.
· Requester sought a copy of all successful applications regarding either Luminere or Artichoke. These were partially provided with redactions under Section 40 (2).
· Requester sought a copy of any reports on the success of the Great North Run Foundation, and confirmation of payment of grants. This information was partially provided with Section 40 (2) and Section 43 (2) redactions.
· Three requesters sought information on fixed telecommunication and internet services within the Arts Council. This information was provided.
· Requester sought information on banking services, audit services and card processing services used by Arts Council England. This information was provided, with Section 40 (2) redactions.
· Requester sought figures on the amount spent by Arts Council England on printing costs over the last five years. This information was provided.
· Requester sought copies of successful Grants for the Arts application forms for Matter, Word on the Street, Only You Can Save Poetry and Phrased and Confused. These were partially provided with Section 40 (3) redactions.
· Requester sought details of letters addressed to or for the attention of Sir Peter Bazalgette on the subject of The Black-E. This information was provided.
· Requester sought details of salaries reported to Arts Council England of the artistic directors, executive directors and/or chief executives at the 20 largest theatre companies in receipt of the largest amount of National Portfolio Organisation funding. This information was not held, and refused on the grounds of Section 40 (2).
· Requester sought all applications, funding decisions and correspondence concerning Grants for the Arts applications made by Frieze Events Ltd, Frieze Projects and Frieze Magazine between 2013 and 2016. These were partially provide with Section 40 (2) redactions.
· Requester sought the amount of money granted to Ministry of Stories in the National Portfolio Organisation rounds 2012-2015 and 2015-18. This information was provided.
· Requester sought copies of 10 applications for Grants for the Arts literature projects. These were partially provided with redactions under Section 40 (2) and Section 43.
· Requester sought employee statistics within Arts Council England with particular focus on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic employees. This information was provided.
· Requester sought a breakdown of ethnicity and gender of the 10 most senior staff currently employed in the City of Birmingham by Arts Council England. This information was provided.
