(Lunch available from 12:30pm)
Gynae conditions made easy in Primary Care
What we are offering
The lunch training session will highlight practical steps to successfully manage certain gynaecology conditions in Primary Care whilst achieving quality and financial sustainability. We are offering local GPs the opportunity to improve their confidence in managing Gynae conditions in Primary Care. Presentations will cover:
- Assessment, conservative therapies and pharmacological management of the overactive bladder in women
- Access to the Bladder, Bowel and Pelvic Floor Services
- Tips to improving referral processes and reduce inappropriate referrals
Why it is important
Lambeth CCG is an outlier compared to National and Local Targets in outpatient Gynaecology activities. Elements of acute activity are high and costs and volumes of Gynaecology services are unsustainable in current and future climate.
The lunch training session has been designed by GPs and Secondary Care Consultants and will inform you how to understand the following:
- Increase your confidence and competence in gynae care
- Use checklist to reduce the number of referrals to Secondary care
- Manage certain Gynae conditions more effectively in Primary Care
- Improve patient care and satisfaction
- Influence and inform service developments within Gynaecology
What we are offering
This lunch training session will count towards your CPD. To book your place at the Gynae Lunch Training sessions, please email confirming your attendance and place of work.
