APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Holy Spirit Church of Fargo is offering $500 college scholarships to high school seniors who are active members of our Parish.
The application deadline is May 1, 2017 for the 2016-2017 academic year.
To apply:
- Must either be a Shanley High School Senior or attend the Holy Spirit Youth Group with a minimum attendance rate of 70% during Senior Year.
- Complete the 2017 Fr. Didier Scholarship Application. You should apply for the scholarship only if you meet the criteria. Only one $500 scholarship per person will be awarded.
- Complete the Essay according to the Essay guidelines below.
- Make arrangements for your high school transcripts to be sent to Attn: Jeff Benda, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1420 7th St N, Fargo, ND 58102 before the May 1, 2017 deadline.
The Essay
Your essay should be between 300 and 800 words in length and word- processed using double spacing in a legible font on plain paper. Essays are evaluated by considering demonstration of good attention to content, composition, style, organization, and mechanics.
