MARYANN GRZEGOREK - Mrs Stanley Wlodarek

Born 27 Jul 1880 Posen Poland; died 26 Jun 1939 age 58, had been ill 2 weeks. Services at St Adalbert’s Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cem. On 15 May 1889 she wed Stanley Wlodarek who survives with their children: Frank, Casimir, Clement, Anthony, Sylvester, Matthew, Mrs Lillian Labiedzinski , Clara and Alice Wlodarek.

RICHARD GRZEGOREK

Born 17 May 1931; died 7 Dec 1986 age 55 of St Joseph Care Center, died there at 10:20 p.m.Sunday. He was a maintenance worker at St mary’s College and a lifelong resident. Services at St Joseph Cemetery Chapel, burial St Joseph Cemeter; no visitation. He is survived by 5 sisters, Florence Grzegorek, Mrs Louise Susan, Mrs Lorraine Dunivent and Mrs Shirley Stabnik all of So Bend and 3 brtohers, Harry, Daniel and Norbert all of So Bend.

Surviving are a son Clement Fiwek, Mrs Sophie Sniadecki, Eleanor, and Casimir Fiwek.

DR LEON L GRZESK

Born 6 Jul 1903; died 2 Jun 1964, age 60 of Granite City Ill at 11 p.m. at John Cochran Veterans Hospital, St Louis MO. He was ill 8 days. Born in Mishawaka, internship at St Elizabeth Hospital St Louis Mo. Prior to WW II he practiced in SBd; served as a doctor in US Army. Was a doctor for 35 years. Buried Calvery Cemetery, Edwardsville Twp, near Granite City Ill. Surviving are his wife Bronislawa, and a son,

Born 16 Feb 1914; died 9 Jan 1996 age 81 of Arrowhead Circle at 3:10 a.m. ub St Joseph’s Medical Center. He was the former owner of Ted’s Tavern. Services at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cemetery. On 14 Oct 1940 in So Bend he wed Veronica Badur who died 7 Sept 1992. He is survived by to sisters Mrs Regina Jankowski of New Carlisle and Mrs Natalie Mrozinski of South Bend , several nieces and nephews. Veteran WW 11.

Born 14 May 1903 Pittsburgh PA; lived heremost of his life; died 18 Dec 1980, age 77 of Rt 1 New Carlisle IN. at 9 a.m. after a brief illness. Retired Studebaker employee. and more recently been a farmer. Services at St Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Terre Coupee. Born 24 oct 1910 Pittsburg PA; died 2 Jan 1995, age 84 of Meridian Nursing Center Cardinal, previously of Camden St, died at 3:25 a.m. Former employee at NOtre Dame U; services at St Adalberts Catholic Church; burial at Resurrection Gardens mausoleum, St Joseph Cemetery. On 23 Jun 1934 married Bert Makowski who died 14 Aug 1001. Born 3 Sept 1895 Pittsburgh PA, lived in So Bend for 70 yrs; died 10 Aug 1981 age 85 of the Marion hill Retirement Home, 415 N Frances after a brief illness. He was retired from the South Bend Police Dept. Services held at St Adalbert’s Catholic Church, burial at St Joseph Cemetery. He was a Veteran WW I. On 24 Sept 1928 wed Julia Brambert who died in 1965. He is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs Helen Derniak, Mrs Bernice Makowski and Mrs Agnes Niedzwiadek, all of South Bend and a brother, Bert J Gresczyk of South Bend also.

Born 22 Feb 1892 Germany; died 15 Jul 1965 age 73 of 528 S Jackson at 6:30 a.m. in St Joseph’s Hospital. She had been ill for a year. Julia arrived in the States 70 years ago. He graduated Indiana U & Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Served his internship at what is now Michaina Community Hospital. Veteran of WW II. Private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn IN. On 22 Aug 1953 he wed Mary E Kessler who survives with two sons, Bruce R of Auburn and Bradd R of South Bend and a grandson.

Born 13 May 1909 Salem Mass; died 11 Sept 1985 age 76 of 26186 Indiana 2; died at 6:45 a.m. in St Joseph’s Medical Center. He was president of Wilton Enterprirses. Services at St Adalbert’s Catholic Church.
