Philip came to America in 1744 with two brothers, George, and Jacob they settled in Phil. what is know the old city. Ptrimarly two wards, Germantown and frankfort. There is a stret through the middle of the old city named Foulkrod st.. The three brothers owned property on and near this street, and now what is cedar hill cemetery. Several years after they came to America thair last name was being spelled several different ways, and the three brothers went to court, (childrens court of Phil.) and had it recorded that henceforth it shall be spelled Foulkrod. There is several wills of the family in this court.
Philip married Barbara______no last name and no dates they had 6 children; Elizabeth, Philip Jr., Mary, George J., Hannah and Mary Susanna.
Philip Was Buried in FrankfordPresp Churchyard Phil., but was moved.

Philip b 12-6-1816 d 3-28-1901. He is buried in Barbours Cemetary. He married Sarah Gilbert b 5-17-1819
d 2-15-1867. Where Sarah is buried is unknown. Maby in an old cemetary in Plunket Creek Township. There is no Headstones with information on them in this cemetary. The few that have information in them the name is Dunlap. The Headstones were Stolen To make a patio. Her daughter witch died within a few yearsof her are probably buried there also. Four of her daughters that I have the death dates on died within a year of their mother. Philip and Sarah had (9) children; Ellen, Samual, Mary E., Charles, Barbara, Sophia, Hannah, John Walter, and Philip Eliza.
