January 2014
Ball court andplay equipmentnow installed.
The Chadwell St. Mary Community Forum Ltd are working with Thurrock Council to raise funds for Play Equipment on this field.
The total cost of installing Play Equipment together with a Ball Court is approx £72,000.00
Thurrock Council have beenable to obtain a grant from Veolia in the sum of £25,000 raised to £33,000 but this is subject to funding match funding a providing the Ball Court.

August 2013
The goal posts are now installed.
We are arranging an open day for the 28th september 2013

March 2013
The Forum has obtained funding for the goal posts and these are to be ordered shortly.Once these are in place we shall arrange for an opening event.
February 2013
The Forumare trying to obtain funding from Community First Development Fund for two full size goal posts with nets. These will be placed on the field away from the play equipment
January 2013
The play equipment has beeninstalled and ready for use.
October 2012
The Ball Courtis up and running. This is thanks to the Trustees of the late Miss. Grover.
Veoliahave kindly raised their contribution to £33,000 in response to the Forum raising £15,000.
July 2012
The Forum have managed to secure £2,344 from Community First Development Fund and this will go towards more play equipment.
June 2012
The Jubilee raffleraised £298 after purchase of prizes. We would like to thank Port of Tilbury, Lakeside Centre and FST Coaches for sponsoring the raffle which without them the money raised would be a lot lower. We would like to thank everyone who supported this raffle by way of purchasing tickets.

Ball Court.We have been advised by the council that the ball Court on Wickham Field should be started shortly. The Forum are hoping to be successful in getting funds from the Community First Scheme in the sum of £2334.
March 2012
Ball Court:- The late Mrs Grover left a piece of land for the children of Chadwell St. Mary. The Council have approached the trustees and they have agreed to fund the Ball court to the sum of approx £22,000
Toddler Equipment:- The Forum have secured a grant of £9,983 from the Awards for All Lottery Scheme. This together with £2,500 we already hold will buy the Toddler Equipment.
Older children equipment:-
The Toddler equipment funds will also count as match funding for the Veolia grant. So with their £25,000 grant plus the £12,500 we have yet to raise will go towards this equipment.
