COSI on Wheels – Exploring Ecology
On Wednesday, February 27, students will investigate animal adaptations, life cycles and learn how parts of the ecosystem are connected. If you are interested in helping as a volunteer, please send a note with your child, contact the office or e-mail
Achievement Test Schedule
Students in grades 3-6 will be taking the Ohio Achievement Assessments again this spring. Testing will take place each morning. If possible, please do not schedule appointments on the following testing days:

Kindergarten Registration, 2013-2014
If you know of anyone who is interested in registering their child for kindergarten, please encourage them to do so. Children must be 5 years old on or before September 30, 2013 to register for the 2013-14 school year. Kindergarten screening will take place in early spring. More information will be mailed in February.
Basketball – Presale Tickets
Presale tickets for the boys varsity and reserve basketball games can be purchased on Thursdays only for the weekend games and on Mondays only for the Tuesday games.
Early Discovery Preschools
2013-2014 Pre-Registration
Early Discovery Preschools operated through the Putnam County Educational Service Center, will begin pre-registration for next school year on February 4, 2013. Early Discovery Preschools are located in the elementary buildings of the following schools: Columbus Grove, Continental, Fort Jennings, Leipsic, and Miller City-New Cleveland.
In accordance with State of Ohio Department of Education, children with disabilities and children who are 3 and 4 years of age from families with limited income (see scale below), will be given priority. Free/reduced fees are available based on family income. Limited space will be available.
Beginning February 4th you may call 419.523.5951, press zero and ask for Ann or Marcie to receive your pre-registration form. Due to the size of the program, space is limited.
