General informations on this(ese) intercalibration exercise(s)
1/ Registration is free but participants will have in charge:
- their own passive samplers (3 that will be exposed in triplicate + 1 as the field blank),
- the system to deploy their passive samplers, the analyses of the target pollutants in their own passive samplers,
- for the French participant: the cost to come on site to deploy and retrieve their passive samplers,
- for the foreign participant: the shipping fee to send to reference laboratories and to get back their passive samplers and deployment systems.
2/ Passive samplers will be exposed during 7 days for metals, 15 days for pesticides and 21 days for PAHs.
3/ For foreign participants: if not present on site for deployment and/or retrieval, necessity to send a protocol that describes precisely the deployment and retrieval of passive samplers.
4/ Quality controls:
1 standard solution will be sent to all participants to be directly analysed. For practical reasons, we need to know the injection solvent used for each participant. Please precise yours for:
analyses of pesticides:…………………………………………………………………
analyses of PAHs: ……………………………………………………………………
analyses of metals: ……………………………………………………………………
5/ Transmission of the results form participants to the organizing Committee:
A result form will be available on the website The results shall be reported electronically on this website with respect to the requested units and the number of digits. An individual password will be allocated to each participant.
6/ Data valorization: the identity of participant will be kept confidential when processing data (a code number will be attributed). The results from this intercalibration exercise will be published in a scientific report written in English and that mentions the list of the expert participating laboratories.
