For the purposes hereof, the following definitions are set forth below:

  • Prepaid Ticket - PTA: reservation in which the number/code of the prepaid ticket has been given, yet without any physical printing of the ticket being materialized via a printer.
  • OpenSeas application: In order the function of the searching of prices and the creation of a reservation to be feasible, (either with a time limit or with prepaid tickets) in the application the Company will develop (via the Web Services service) according to the points defined above, the latter should have installed and activated an application, OpenSeas™, that FORTHcrs has developed and it is the rights holder of it, in order to enable the Company to have access in real time to travel information that will permit it to conduct via the as above application, the process of reservations and issue of maritime/airline tickets. At all events, the Company is obliged to accept the terms of use of the OpenSeas application. The terms of use and operation of the OpenSeas system will be in effect simultaneously with the terms hereof and in the event of any doubt or/and conflict among them, the terms hereof will prevail. Following these, the Company obtains and is identified with a single Company code (FORTHcrs code), via which the interconnection of the Company with the systems of the Ferry/Air Companies is effected, for the access to the integrated system of distribution of reservations and issuance of tickets, that FORTHcrs has developed.

  • Option of Language

  • Search for itinerariesaccordingly to selection of number of passengers and vehicles.
  • Appearance of itineraries and indication of availability / Selection of itinerary.
  • Selection of type of accommodation, vehicles and customer’s details (gender etc.)

  • Pricing, commitment or release available type of accommodation, garage meters ect.

  • Registration of passenger and vehicle details as required by the single Ferry/airline Operator and additional passenger data, if required in the event (external routes, specific agreements with FORTHcrs, loyalty, Etc. )

  • Registrations of customer address information and / or tickets shipping information.
  • Selection of way reception of tickets (the different ways of receipt and different pricing formulas, registers parametrically by FORTHcrs on partner’s demand)
  • Direct issuing prepaid tickets.
  • Payment to the cooperated with the Company banks (if the payment fails for any reason, the relevant reservation or the issued tickets is cancelled).

  • Sending of customer’s details for the delivery-payment to the Agent
  • Displaying all reservation’s details (group voucher) either it is about a reservation or about tickets.
  • Possibility for the charging of an additional fee for the provision of the services by the Agent to its customer (service fee)
  • Management and monitoring of bookings made ​​online, for changes / modifications or cancellation, in accordance with the each time applicable trade policy of the Ferry/Airline Companies, through the OpenSeas application.
  • Administration and monitoring of the reservations that are effected online as well as informing with statistical data that concern the number of the corresponding tickets (wherever this service is available) through OpenSeas application.
