NOMINATIONS ANNOUNCEMENT

WHO:Kerry Washington (“Scandal”) and Nick Offerman (“Parks and Recreation”) joinAcademy of Television Arts & Sciences Chairman Bruce Rosenblum to announce the 64thPrimetime Emmy®Awards nominations.

WHEN:Thursday, July 19, 2012

  • Remarks Begin 5:30am PT / 8:30am ET
  • LIVE ANNOUNCEMENT5:40am PT / 8:40am ET

Auditorium Open for Set-up:

Wednesday, July 18 from 12 noon and remains open until Thursday, July 19 to 4:00 a.m.

Theatre will close at 4:00am for closed door rehearsal (4:15-4:45 a.m.)

WHERE: Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre, 5230 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood (Lankershim Blvd. at Magnolia Blvd.)

COVERAGE:Live four-minute ceremony on stage with Kerry Washington, Nick Offerman and Bruce Rosenblum announcing nominations in top twelve categories at 5:40am PT. One-on-one interviews will be arranged following announcements.

CREDENTIALS: All attendees must have a photo ID

Media/publicists must check in at press table to receive credentials

Check in begins at 3:00am

Note: Buffet breakfast and coffee will be served

PARKING:Satellite Trucks and Micro-Vans – all will have assigned spots.All Cars must use the Parking Structure, adjacent to the Academy.

CABLE RUNS: Power, video and audio cables must be run through the backstage entrance which accessesthe theatre from the rear service road OR through the stage left exit which leads to the plaza (depending on your parking assignment.) All cables entering the theatre must be wrapped in black duvateen and secured with gray gaffers tape.

POWER SUPPLY:Power drops will be available throughout the theatre. Please bring your own strips and extra cables as needed to reach Power Drops.

POOL CAMERA: Video/audio mult-boxes will be provided from the Academy's pool camera for anytelevision outlet notwishing to bring their own camera. Please be sure to bring extra cables to reach Mult Boxes. Suggested minimum length: 50 feet

CAMERAThe theatre will open at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 18th for media with reserved spaces to lay cables

POSITIONS:early. However, generator power will not be available until 3 a.m. on Thursday, July 19. All cameras and audio equipment must be turned off and the theatre must be temporarily vacated by 4:15 a.m. that morning as noted above. Special equipment or other needs should be cleared with PMK*BNC.

PHONE LINES: If you are pre-ordered phone lines you must bring a hand held receiver with wire.

PRESS PACKETS: Nominees information packets will be available immediately following the announcements at the Leonard H.
