Vyve Broadband Teacher of the Month Announces First Winner for the 2017-18 School Year

Perryton Voters Honor September’s Outstanding Teacher

Perryton, TX (October 10, 2017) — Vyve Broadband is thrilled to announce Donna Wright, math teacher at Wright Elementary School as the September Teacher of the Month in their annual program honoring outstanding teachers in the community.

This is the first month of program for the 2017-18 school year. The Vyve Teacher of the Month program is presented to teachers who have proven to be champions of the classroom and stewards of their community through their teaching, mentorship and leadership. Wright was chosen by Perryton residents through an online voting process.

“We know that great teachers can impact students in multiple ways, most certainly igniting a love for learning and finding a student’s strength. We believe that teachers are incredibly important and deserve as much recognition as possible for their work. Plus, we love hearing about how a teacher has impacted lives and made the classroom fun,” said Diane Quennoz, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience at Vyve.

Vyve will continue the program for nine months, through the end of the school year, inviting the community to visit www.vyvebroadband.com/teacher or www.facebook.com/vyvebroadband to vote for who should be the teacher of the month. Teachers from any public school in Perryton are eligible, Pre-K through High School. They will receive a Vyve Golden Apple trophy and entered to win an iPad for their classroom.

“We’re just getting started for this year, and can’t wait to meet the teachers making such an incredible impact. We’re looking forward to honoring many more deserving teachers,” said Quennoz.
