Key / Key Description / Function
Goodbye / Goodbye Key / Ends an active call, or while ringing sends an incoming call to voice mail.
Hold / Hold Key / Places an active call on hold. To retrieve a held call, press the button with the flashing lamp.
Redial / Redial Key / Pressing the Redial key twice redials the last number dialed.
/ Volume Control Key / Adjusts the volume for the handset, headset, or speaker while in use. The ringer can be adjusted while the phone is idle by pressing the volume control buttons.
Line / Line/Call Appearance Key / Connects you to a line or an incoming call.
Speaker/Headset / Handsfree Key / Activates the speaker and microphone for making and receiving calls without lifting the handset. When the audio mode option is set, this key is used to switch between a headset and the handsfree speakerphone.
Mute / Mute Key / Mutes the microphone so that your caller cannot hear you (the light indicator flashes when the microphone is on mute).
←↑↓→ / Navigation Keys / Press UP or Down to view the status of text messages on the LCD display and scroll through the menu selections. Press the LEFT and RIGHT arrow keys to view different line/call appearances.
Conf. / Conference Key / Used to establish a 3-way conference.
From the conversation press CONF key. Listen for dial tone (during this time the person you were talking to is on hold). Dial the desired extension. The phone will ring in that person's office. When the third person picks up announce the 3-way conference. Press Conf again and now the three parties are joined.

Options / Options Key / Used by Telephone Services Staff only (for troubleshooting).
Transfer / Transfer Key / Used to transfer a call to another party.
From the conversation press the transfer button (the person you were talking with is now on hold). Listen for dial tone and then enter the desired extension. The phone will ring at that extension. If someone answers, announce the transfer and then hang up.

Accessing and Clearing Missed Calls. ( Always on display) / Press the “Options” button
Using the up/down arrow button scroll to “Preferences” and then press the SELECT button
Scroll to “Speed Dial Edit” and press the “SELECT” button. Choose one of the “Auto Dial” flashing buttons:
Backspace to erase the word ‘auto dial’ and enter the name you wish to add. Use the “ABC” key to toggle between upper case and lower case.
Arrow down to input the telephone number, after entering the number press “Save”
Press OK
To use this feature just press the button marked with the desired name (press the “more” button to get to the rest of the listed names).
While transferring a call to another person, you will see CANCEL on the LCD display. If the party is unavailable you can press the LEFT display arrow ß to select the CANCEL feature, the system will prevent the transfer. The original call remains on hold.
The IP phone has a "missed calls" indicator that increases the number of missed calls to the phone.
The number of calls that have not been answered will show on the phone’s idle screen as "<number> New Calls". Each number will increase as unanswered calls and are sent to the phone numbers. All associated caller’s ID can be found and stored in the Callers List.
The user can access the Callers List and clear the call from the list. Once the user accesses the Callers List, the "<number> New Calls" on the idle screen is cleared. If you select
Delete All the caller’s list will display Caller’s List is empty. Then press “OK”.
To clear the callers list on your display press the CALLERS button on your phone .This will clear the number of calls on your display window.Caller’s List is empty
**If extension appears on multiple phones, then the MISSED CALLS count will increase by one whether call is answered or not.
Call Pickup
Key pad dialing only / Key Pad Feature Only
press # 7 # / Pressing # 7 # from your keypad picks up a ringing line within your call pickup group. This feature requires database to be set beforehand in order to work
Delete / Delete Key
To delete a specific entry
To delete all caller entries / The Delete key is used to delete individual caller entries or all caller entries from the LCD display list.
Press the CALLERS button and use the up/down arrow button to select the number you want to delete from the list. Once selected press the DELETE button and the words “DELETE again to erase this item” will appear. Pressing the DELETE button a second time will delete the selected entry.
Press the CALLERS button once and then press the DELETE button. The words “DELETE again to erase all calls” will appear. Pressing Delete a second time will erase all caller entries
Forward / Call Forward Key
CALL FORWARD (ON)
CALL FORWARD (OFF) / The Forward feature is used to forward all calls made to your line and redirect them to another destination number.
Press the forward button from the line you want to forward. You will hear two confirmation beeps. Then enter the destination number (include 9 for off campus numbers). When done you will hear two more confirmation beeps.
Press the forward button from the line currently forwarded. You will hear two confirmation beeps to indicate forwarding is off.
Intercom / Intercom Key / Intercom calls are made by pressing the INTERCOM line. Dial the two-digit Intercom number of the person you want to reach, followed by the # key.
Voice Mail / Voice Mail Key / Press the voicemail button to access your voice mailbox then enter your security code.
Speed Dial / Speed Dial feature

Placing a Speed Dial
Call
To Edit or Delete stored numbers / To Store a telephone number under the “Speed Dial” feature:
Press the “Speed Dial” button
Press the “Options” button then using the up/down arrows scroll to “ADD”
Press the select button to execute function.
Enter the name of the person/institution you wish to add (All numbers are stored in the order you entered them. Use the “ABC” key to toggle between upper case and lower case).
After entering the name press “Done”
You can now enter the telephone number (up to four per contact – W, H, C & O).
Scroll to desired setting and then select by pressing “Edit”
Enter the telephone number (include the 9 if it is for an off-campus number and area code if needed).
Press “Done.”
Press “Speed Dial” and scroll through using the “Page Down” button and then use the “Up/Down” arrows to select.
Press the “Dial button”
Press “Speed Dial”
Scroll to the desired listed name you wish to edit or delete
Press “Options”
Scroll to “Edit or Delete”
Press “Select” to execute action
Press “Yes or No” to confirm.
