  1. Find the initial velocity of your projectile using methods that we have used in the past. Check your methods and calculations with Mrs. Brown before continuing.

  1. Determine a way to steady your projectile so that you can accurately measure the angle that it is shooting from while positioned on a platform. Record the height of you platform on the data sheet under yi.
  2. Place an angry bird on your blocks at some specified height yf. Record yf on your data sheet and the distance from your launch position xi to the target on your data sheet at xf.
  3. Determine the angle with which you need to shoot your projectile at in order to hit the angry bird at y1. Record that angleӨ on your data sheet.
  4. Using your data, and the following values: xi, yi, yf, vi, and the launch angle Ө prove that you can in fact find xf for your launcher.
