THE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP
Dear Fellow Fencers,
The Fencing Club of the University of Hong Kong hereby invites you to participate in our latest competition event: The University of Hong Kong Fencing Championship, one of the largest fencing competitions in the territory. We aim at offering a platform in which the skills of enthusiastic and competent fencers shine. The competition general information is shown as follow:
Venue: / Flora Ho Sports Centre, The University of Hong Kong
Event: / Men &Ladies’ Foil Individual, Men & Ladies ’s Epee Individual, Men & Ladies’s Saber Individual
Fees: / $70 per individual (insurance fee included)
Schedule: / (all times refer to close of registration)
Day 1 / 9:30 a.m.: / Ladies’ Foil Individual and Men’s Epee Individual roll call
12:30 p.m. / Men’s Saber Individual roll calls
Day 2 / 9:30 a.m.: / Men’s Foil Individual and Ladies’ Epee Individual roll call
12:30 p.m. / Ladies’ Saber Individual roll calls
Notes: / The competition is run under FIE Rules, subjects to changes outlines in these rules. The competition formula is one round of pools (number eliminated will depend on size of event) followed by Direct Elimination.
Full fencing uniform and gear are prepared by participants. No Shorts allowed.
Applicants need to pay through installment, and reply the application form with (1) crossed cheque payable or (2) the original copy of the receipt after making cash deposit in HSBC by using HK Dollar Account Deposit Form (Account no.: 082-292954-001 ) to the following address: Fencing Club HKUSU, The University of HK, 101 Pokfulam Road, Hong Kong (Do Not Send Cash). Once the payment is received, his qualification is recognized. We welcome walk-in but have to pay extra $50. The deadline for receiving application is 13th September, 2008.
Fees and registrations on competition cannot be transferred from one applicant to another, in case of any withdrawal, there will be no refund.
